WOW!! Established in May 1972, IEC is celebrating forty years of research and education.
The hallmark of IEC's longevity has been the establishment of multidisciplinary core competencies to address R&D; issues and the integration of industrial R&D; needs with academic education and training. This has fostered our long history of contributions to the science and engineering of photovoltaics and of the transfer of technology to the PV industry. Many concepts conceived at IEC during its 40 year history are now providing the foundation for the expanding PV industry.
