ATLANTA – (WAOK/AJC) – Atlanta police used a chopper in a search for at least one suspect who got away after a robbery and chase late Friday morning. Police caught up with the suspects, just off of I-285 and Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, just before noon. Investigators say the trio raced down Georgia 400 through Cobb County, and Atlanta, after allegedly jumping a man outside a Bank of America branch bank, on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs. The victim says he was making check deposits, when two men approached and grabbed the bag, but says he snatched it back, before the thieves, yanked it from him again, and took off. Police were able to stop them, after using the pit manuever, and the driver, spun out. Two men, 23 year old DeAnthony Laster, and 25 year old Ricardo Taylor were arrested on the scene. The robbery victim who was not hurt, had the items taken returned to him.
