Jonathan Hunt

Jonathan Hunt is the New York-based chief correspondent for FOX News Channel's FOX Report. Previously, he was based in Los Angeles. He joined the network as a freelance international correspondent in 2002.

Most recently, Jonathan provided live coverage of the Royal Wedding live from Westminster Abbey. He has traveled across the globe for Fox, covering the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq (where he was the first Fox correspondent to go into the dangerous city of Fallujah). Jonathan has also covered the Israeli-Palestinian conflict extensively, spending many months in Israel and in Gaza. He also covered the 2006 Israeli-Hezbollah conflict from Beirut. He has reported on the global warming controversy live from the Arctic, joined the Mexican Army and police on raids in the ongoing drug war, investigated fake tequila south of the border, and has traveled to China to examine that country's economic and environmental issues and to ask the age-old question - how do pandas have sex?

Prior to joining FNC, Jonathan was the European bureau chief for Sky News where he covered the riots at the 2001 G8 Summit in Italy and the eruption of Mt. Etna in Sicily. From 1995 to 2000, he served as the US Bureau Chief and Senior correspondent for Sky News in Washington, D.C. During that time, Jonathan covered the Oklahoma City bombing, the O.J. Simpson trail and verdict, the Monica Lewinsky scandal, and President Clinton's impeachment. He also anchored Sky News' coverage of the 1996 Presidential election from Washington, D.C. and the 2000 election from Austin, Texas.

As a Sky News correspondent, Hunt also reported on the Barcelona Olympics in 1992, the Irish Republican Army's ongoing aggression in Northern Ireland, and several British elections. He has made two documentaries in India for Sky News and interviewed every British Prime Minister from Margaret Thatcher to Tony Blair.

Originally from Somerset, England, Jonathan played competitive soccer and rugby as a teenager.
