Participating sponsor

Watch eyes grow wide when horses charge and cannons roar as reenactors from across the country bring an1860s battle to life again. Young and old can learn firsthand what the Civil War was about from both Union and Confederate soldiers during Civil War Days weekend. Create a memory sure to last a lifetime when you experience the Civil War for yourself. A battle reenactment will take place each day. Please visit our Civil War Days Flickr photostream to see the images from 2011 and we'll see you in May for Civil War Days.

In addition to the battle reenactment each day at 2 p.m., the weekend's events will include cannon firing, performances by Storytellers Drum - Life in the United States Colored Troops, field hospital demonstrations, live music and appearances by Fritz Klein as Abraham Lincoln.
