The Commissioner at Large for the Communications Officer performs various duties relating to all aspects of the Communications portfolio, at the discretion of the Communications Officer.
Media Coordinator

The Media Commissioner is responsible for organizing and overseeing the planning and production of The Big Purple Couch as well as working in conjunction with CHRW and tvWestern. The Media Commissioner works with the Communications Officer to create, execute and monitor all promotions for The Big Purple Couch.
Publications Commissioner

The Publications Commissioner is responsible for the production of the Western Web, in addition to assisting the Communications Officer with any other USC publications, including but not limited to the Westernizer, Involvement and Opportunity Guide and the Commissioners` Guide.
USC Internal Promotions Commissioner

The Internal Promotions Commissioner is responsible for promoting council cohesion and morale through social events, including the winter and Year-End gatherings as well as other events. Additionally, they organize the design and sale of USC clothing.
USC Team Coordinator

The USC Team Coordinator is responsible for leading the Info Soph Team. They are ultimately responsible for promoting student services to first year students during Orientation Week, using unique promotional methods. The services the Info Team promotes include:

- Campus Recreation and Mustangs
- Foot Patrol
- Student Health Services
