COOLPIX S3300 4.5 5 2 2
Great camera! I got the black S3300, love the looks, the size, the clarity of the LCD, the ease of use with simple to understand button layout, lightweight, and rugged. Perfect camera under $150. April 21, 2012
Camera is new but seems very easy to operate. Everything seems great about this camera except the View NX 2 software disk will not load on my or my husbands laptop computer although it loaded on my desktop just fine. All are 64 bit windows 7 computers. April 26, 2012

Answer:
This answer was speedy but useless!

Looking at tests posted on the web, the optimum ISO would appear to be 100 or 200.

I bought this camera to have in my pocket to take snapshots for the web. It is more than adequate for that purpose.

For serious photography I use Canon digitals and L series lenses.

3+ secs between each photo is too long

1. No red eye is set
2. No skin smoothing set
3. 1200 x 720 dpi set

Do have hundreds of photos stored on memory card

Answer:
Please reset the camera: MENU > SETUP > RESET ALL. Also, verify the settings that you have for Image Mode (seepage # 60 of the user's manual) and make sure you are using an approved memory card for the COOLPIX S3300 (see page # 19).

3+ seconds to store each image after photo taken

Have reset all to default setting but no improvement.

Is this delay normal?

I have over 500 photos stored on an 8GB Lexar card
