Excelent! When I buy this product in 2006, I never thought to this day what would have working in my hands. I did a big sacriffice to bought and it response perfectly. With over of 70.000 pictures, never had a problem but a little dirt on the lens. I soak, I dropped to the sand, scrimmage, he traveled almost all South America and here it is. I use every single day of my life. Highly recommended, sorry you have not done! January 18, 2011
Old product but always had troubles with this cam, most of the time pics are blurred even with a tripod! Must take 4-5 shots to have a good one! On evenings, always been impossible to use. August 22, 2011

I get this message now every time I put the card in, and it is the same card I used for years. The same happens with any other card you put inside, you get this message and the camera menu functions doesn't work.

Please make sure that you are using an approved memory card:

The following cards have been tested and approved for use in the Coolpix L4:
SanDisk: 64MB, 128 MB, 256MB, 256MB*, 512MB, 512MB*, 1GB, 1GB*
Toshiba: 64MB, 128MB, 128MB*, 256MB, 256MB*, 512MB, 512MB* 1GB
Panasonic: 64MB, 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 512MB*, 1GB, 1GB*
*High speed (10MB/s)
Other cards have not been tested. For more details on the above cards, please contact the manufacturer.

I've always successfully used a Sandisk 1G SD memory card with this camera, but would like to increase to a 2G memory card. Will this work in the L4?

i copy all the picture inside the cam.. after copying i delete the folder inside the cam. when i use the cam.. it will display WARNING!! THIS CARD CANNOT BE READ

Please verify that the memory card is not write protected. Also, verify that you are using an approved memory card and format it in the camera, since it could be that the memory card is corrupted.
