Chimphu view from Tsogyal's hermitage

Jnanasukha and Dr. Gyurme Dorje of Trans Himalaya are pleased to announce two pilgrimages to the sacred sites of Yeshe Tsogyal in Tibet (TAR) in September-October. 2010. Yeshe Tsogyal is the founding mother of Tibetan Buddhism and the foremost female master of Tibet.

The pilgrimage destinations of her life story are intimately connected with the renowned spiritual hermitages of the Tibetan heartlands — from her birthplace at Drakda, to the sanctuaries of Yemalung, Chimphu, and Zhoto Tidro, where she perfected her practices; to the Crystal Cave of Yarlung Sheldrak, one of her foremost repositories of hidden teachings (terma); and finally to the remote hermitage of Zabbulung in Western Tibet, where she attained the supreme transformation of the rainbow body. Along the way, the pilgrimages also visit Mindroling and Dorje Drak, important temples associated with the Nyingma lineage; Gangri Tokar, associated with Longchenpa; and Draksum Tsodzong and Lamaling, associated with  His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche.

Complete information and instructions for applying online can be found at www.jnanasukha.org/pilgrimage.

Event planners hope to have all obstacles cleared in the coming weeks.

About his upcoming trip, His Holiness states:

I hope and wish that this year all our expectations and aspirations to meet together in Europe will be fulfilled.

His Holiness will visit  nine different countries in Europe, including Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Poland, France, Great Britain, Belgium, Spain and The Netherlands.  For much more information on the European Tour of HHK17 and to keep up to date with emerging news and developments, please visit http://www.karmapanetwork.eu/.
