The Economic Census of Island Areas (IA)
provides periodic and comprehensive data for economic activity and
structure for American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), Guam, Puerto Rico and the U.S Virgin Islands. United States Code, Title
13, authorizes this census and makes responding mandatory. Assistance with
the census is provided by the government of each island area represented.
All 2007 Island Areas' Data Tables
Data is published solely on American FactFinder (AFF), the Census Bureau's online, self-service data access tool.
The data is presented using the North American Industry Classification System
(NAICS) code, which is used to classify business establishments.
The NAICS search page
provides more information about NAICS and can be used to look up NAICS
codes for specific industries.
