The Cambridge Certificate of Proficieny in English (CPE) is Cambridge ESOL´s most advanced exam. Most colleges and universities around the world do not require you to have completed such an advanced test to apply for their programs, but is you have been awarded with the CPE it will be as accepted as the less advanced Cambridge tests, eg, FCE and CAE.

This test follows the same model as the FCE and CAE, however the tasks are more complex and the texts more academic and professionally oriented.
