Announcements


Effective with the March 2012 release, the quarterly services estimates will be revised based on the results of the 2010 Service Annual Survey.

With the release of the 2010 Service Annual Survey (SAS) estimates in February 2012 , revised revenue estimates for employer plus nonemployer firms will be provided in Table 1.1 for 2009 and all previous years. Estimates will be revised for the entire time series to reflect improvements in the coverage of nonemployer businesses (i.e., businesses with no paid employees) that were implemented with the release of the 2009 Nonemployer Statistics.

For additional information on these improvements and their effect on the nonemployer totals, see the Nonemployer Statistics home page. Revisions to all other published estimates may occur because of corrections made to previously reported data and the replacement of imputed data with reported data obtained from the company.
