Parking on the Prinshof Campus
A number of parking areas have been made available for your use as can be seen in the attached map.
The designated areas are for public parking also and, although the security services endeavour to keep the vehicles safe, all parking is at your own risk.
You are kindly requested to refrain from parking in this area (South Side of the HW Snyman Building) as delivery vehicles and contractors make use of this road on a daily basis and the University cannot be held liable for any damage to your vehicle.
You may NOT park in Bophelo Road as this is a public road and the Metro Police often tow cars away which are parked illegally in this area. Cars in this road have also been stolen in the past. This is also an ambulance road and any obstruction in flow of traffic will not be tolerated.
If you have any parking queries or further suggestions please contact UP security at 012 420 2310 or 012 420 2760 or email security@up.ac.za.
