Attar

Colonel Attar was the field commander of the Ape Armies and the loyal right-hand ape to General Thade. While he took pleasure in hunting humans like his General, Attar was also deeply religious, a devoted follower in the worship of the first ape, Semos. Indeed, Attar demanded everyone bow their heads at dinner in order to pray to Semos, and his religious devotion would be key in the eventual rift between himself and the cruel Thade. Attar was also the one who had to deliver the unfortunate line, "Get your stinking hands off me, you damn dirty human!"
