Skyrim DLC We Want

You're probably not bored with Skyrim yet, but if you've sunk 300 hours into it already you might be ready for some DLC. Here's the Skyrim DLC we want.

If my Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim review tells you anything, it's that you can get lost in the world of Skyrim for hours at a time without even noticing. Hell, I spend two hours rearranging the tomes on my bookshelf before I saddle up on Lydia's shoulders and set off on an adventure. What? I don't buy horses.

Like all extravagant adventures, however, those hours add up. Sooner or later, you'll explore every burial chamber, cave, bandit camp and lost city and you'll be itching for more content to Fus Ro Dah off the side of High Hrothgar If you're already part of one of Skyrim's best marriages and you already have one of Skyrim's best companions, then maybe it's about time to start thinking about DLC.

Boredom isn't one of the Skyrim diseases, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't cure it before it strikes! Start brainstorming, read the Skyrim DLC We Want and tell me if there's anything you would add!

Norse Mythology Mounts

Skyrim has a number of throwbacks to Norse mythology. Plenty of ancient creatures such as the eight-legged horse, Sleipnir, and the dragon Fafnir are referenced in the game through Easter eggs, literature and people. I, however, did not become a writer to read. This is all very interesting, but I rather ride an eight-legged horse while screaming Nordic banter then read about him. Where are the Hippocamps and Hippogriffs? Better yet, where is my flying horse?

I want to ride a flying horse dammit.

Other Areas of Tamriel

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was beautiful, and Skyrim looks even better. Now that they have the tech (and the entirety of Tamriel's landmass is already built into Skyrim), why not have us visit Vvardenfell, Morrowind's now desolate wasteland? Or maybe Hammerfell? The guards keep talking about their curved swords, maybe I can go check those out? Unless that's a euphemism, then I'll pass.

Whatever the case may be, the rest of Tamriel is in Skyrim for a reason. I am an explorer at heart, I can't be bottled up like this Bethesda.

New Craft Recipes

If you've spammed iron daggers to get your smithing to 100 like I did, you must be tired of your Dragon or Daedric armor by now. Anyone who tells me I shouldn't have spammed smithing so early just doesn't understand. It is called obsessive-compulsive disorder. Look it up. I needed to do it. Using the same armor since level 9, however, has made me grow tired of it.

New armor to smith? New potions to make? New enchantments and cooking recipes? I'd take all four. Besides the new stuff though, maybe I could finally craft the Dragonbone Sword that should have already been in the game, along with the Daedric light armor I should already be wearing.

New Perks

Skyrim seemed to have everything I was looking for, in terms of perks, early on in the game. As my Nord grew, however, I realized I really only wanted a select handful of perks. I could ask for useful perks that could benefit me in battle or make my crafting easier, but only a few things really come to mind. I want the Wild Wasteland perk from New Vegas so I can find some weird shit. I want the Mysterious Stranger perk from Fallout 3, with his trench coat and everything. I want some perks that affect my companions skills and stats.

Lydia and I have grown apart and have begun to resent each other. We need something to spruce of our adventures, and I don't mean Horny Dragon Weed.

4

Large-Scale Battles

As action-packed as it may seem, Skyrim may actually be one of the boring footnotes in the Encyclopedia Tamriellica. Some of the big wars I keep reading about lasted for years. The Four-Score war lasted 80 years alone. Who cares that a couple of Dragons stopped by for a few weeks and lit some shit on fire?

I want to fight in a war with hundreds of characters on the screen. Let me experience The Great War, where the Aldmeri Dominion attacked the Empire, or the Forsworn Rebellion, where Markath erupted in civil war. Those were some shit.

A bit more.

What ever happened to enchanting invisibility and or enchanting arrows? maybe one soul gem could enchant say around 25 arrows. I would like to see the Thalmor bit played out more, a quest where we get to destroy those Nazis. or at least let them know how much we like them, I've already got a good collection of Thalmor robes started.

New Vegas' Gun Runner's Arsenal. Skyrim Edtion

A DLC that adds new weapon types like Bone, or Flame( a flame sword would be nice to have ). Spears, maybe. Crossbows? Teleportation spells, Spells that let you be disgusted as a NPC .

Audie Garver - Sun. Jan. 22, 2012 at 03:57:51 PM

No online gameplay

I'm kind of tired of people talking about online co-op. It's a terrible idea, Skyrim is a single player RPG. How about an MMORPG made in the setting of Tamriel. Skyrim is too large of a game for online gameplay, and it'd cost more to adjust the game for online than they'd make. I feel that online gameplay would take away the special feeling you get thatbyou are the only one who can save Skyrim, besides you'd be so OP...

Becoming King of Sovenrade

While i was exploring the hall of Valor in Sovengrade, some of the Heroes there spoke about how the high seat in Sovengrade was empty. maybe they need a dragonborn to fill it?

Ethromel Washington - Sun. Jan. 22, 2012 at 01:37:51 PM

Create Original Spells Again

In Oblivion making spells was major fun, so why they took it out- I don't know, but I would love it back.

Ethromel Washington - Sun. Jan. 22, 2012 at 01:15:46 PM

Create a Villain

A lot of times hardcore players have a tendency to make themselves so powerful, that eventually the thrill in the game is gone early. So to thwart this outcome I propose that Bethesda give us a DLC that allows for players to make their own ultimate nemesis. Someone or something that the player can truly feel is difficult to defeat. The bounty hunters, assassins, and sorcerers in the game posed no real challenge for a 100 smithing, enchanted, sneaky, one-handed warrior like myself- so let me make one. I made my protagonists, let me make my antagonists. The game would control this enemy with proper A.I. to use every power at their disposal to kill your character. The Dragon-Unborn is there to stop you from fulfilling your destiny. There would also be NPCs that support and worship the Dragon-Unborn, because many believe the cause of their dragon woes is the fact that a Dragon-Born exist at all. Their logic: If there were no one to fulfill the destiny, the dragon event would not exist at all. Sort of a chicken or the egg scenario. So what I'm saying is give players the opportunity to use the same create character feature (that we used at the beginning) to make the enemy of our dreams. Give us a list of titles or menacing names to identify him like in Oblivion's arena Champion, so that NPCs actually talk about this villain as though they truly fear or revere his well-known actions.

Ethromel Washington - Sun. Jan. 22, 2012 at 12:53:49 PM

Vampires need Love to

A vampire should be able to feed themselves by using the unique spell that is provided for them- thereby maintaining their "human" appearance. Why feeding with Vampiric Drain and staying at level 1 vampirism are dealt with separately is beyond me. I should be able to run faster or at least jump higher than a normal human. As a vampire, the same way I get minuses in the day time, I should also get the bonuses when it is night. So if my base health is 200, and in the sun it is (200 - 60) =140, at night (in all fairness) it should be(200 + 60) = 260. Also the DLC should be acknowledgment from other vamps that know what you are, perhaps a master as a companion so players feel a real connection to the Master Vampire that turned him/her. And a chance to visit the icy lair of the Volkihar Vamps that hide underneath Skyrim frozen waters, along with a quest or three. Bring the Vampiric Ring back.

Ethromel Washington - Sun. Jan. 22, 2012 at 12:34:40 PM

10 Fingers!

I have ten fingers (last I checked); so why am I ONLY allowed to wear just two rings? The perk to wear more rings could have been added on to the tree for Smithing or Enchanting, or just give it to us because it makes natural sense.

why no co-op

WHY NOT HAVE CO-OP MUILTYPLAYER FOR XBOX P.C BUT HAVE IT FOR PS3 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jon Adkins - Sun. Jan. 22, 2012 at 01:39:29 AM

NO CO-OP BUT MORE LAND TO EXPLORE

I say a huge NO to co-op/online play!!! Why waste your time with that crap? And as for zombies....HELL NO!!!! OVERPLAYED AND OVERRATED!!!!! Let us customize our armor how we see it and so forth.

Return to Solstheim

We went there in Bloodmoon, participated in Hircine's hunt, built a mining town only to discover that the money ran out in Raven rock 6 years later in oblivion, that the Nord's destroyed Fort Frostmoth, and that the next Chieftan of Thirsk (after the pc in bloodmoon) got killed by the Uderfrykte Matron while hunting it in Northern Cyrodil. and then the dark elves moved there after Red mountain erupted and the argonians invaded. Solstheim is a totally different ballgame now. I would like to see how it has changed. I would like to see how the Skaal are doing, or if they even still exist. I would like to see Thirsk, and make Stahlrim armor and weapons again. Plus it is close to Skyrim, and has some importance in culture to the nords, so it would make sense.

Marcus Olynyk - Sat. Jan. 21, 2012 at 09:43:33 PM

CRAFTABLE ROBES AND ARROWS

WHY has nobody been talking about crafting robes and arrows?!?!?! Its the biggest let down since I can find cloth and linen everywhere! And dont get me started on firewood!! Also, what happened to the "Shield" enchantment that I could put on robes in Oblivion? COME ON PEOPLE

Orindae Mayngan - Sat. Jan. 21, 2012 at 07:25:21 PM

Make it more customizable!!

ARMOR! I would like to be able to make any style f armor in any type of leather or metal, heavy or light, so I can customize my look. same goes for weapons! HOUSES! I would like to be able to customize my house, hire a contractor adding rooms and or even the ability to buy land out side the town and build a castle or stronghold, I mean I need to do something with all this money that's just laying around. SHOPS! I would like to have my own shop, where I hire folks to run it for me and all I need to do is fill up a chest with new items I have found and or stolen and the employees will sell it for me over time. I also would like to customize my shop of coarse. CLOTHS! I would like to be able to buy any and all clothing if someone is wearing it, I want to be able to buy it. or even better I want to be able to make my own cloths, my own design. BANDITS! I would like to be able to start my own group of bandits, and hold up in some crypt or take over some other bandit hide out. I would also like to explore Morrowind and cyrodil again but that is a tall order.

Desiree Liddell - Sat. Jan. 21, 2012 at 05:41:48 PM

Daedric Dragons from the oblivion plane?

almost like cataclysm or perhaps we could travel back in time when he(hero) was a child and growing up in Skyrim? a look into the past and already knowing the future would be pretty damn awesome! Maybe he would find a small dragon egg(Alduin) raise him and lose him in a horrible fire...only to have alduin think hes been abandoned(toy story 3 plot) thus revenge is served through regret and abandonment cuz dragons have feelings too! OOOOH I WANNA PLAY!

Nicholas Leiker - Sat. Jan. 21, 2012 at 05:28:42 PM

Dunmer/Dwarven mechanismsand Return to Cyrodil! (Or something smaller)

The dwemer are a new frontier to me in the elder scrolls universe and are shrouded in mystery. I wat to learn more about them and learn how to craft some of their crazy technology. Perhaps a questline that opens up a new skill tree that lets you create dwemer automatons that obey you? Perhaps a steam cannon you find in a ruin that fires a huge gust of hot steam like the centurion does. Or even a larger dwemer spider mount that can scale vertical walls and shoot lightning. Nowto Cyrodil From what I have heard and read ingame, Cyrodil seems to be in a big sack of horker dung. Apparently there is a plague, the economy is bad and not to mention the thalmor shoving their fingers into everyone's business. I would like to return to Cyrodil not only to see how it is in Skyrim's era, but to see remnants of Oblivion's era. I would love to go back to Kvatch and see how it was repaired and the statue they HAD to have built for the Hero in Oblivion. Stumbling along old broken oblivion gates covered in vines and overgrowth. Whilst staring in nostalgia, you are assulted by a few dremora and a summoner! After slaying them you travel to imperial city to see it overtaken by plague, possible quest against Peryite.

DLC Suggestion

riding horses while wielding weapons

Make a dlc where you can ride a horse n shoot a bow n arrow while riding the horse. Or be able to ride the horse and wield a sword and gallop past an enemy n cut his head off or just slice him with the sword or ax.

the gods

let me see some dlc that gets me more involved with the gods. i havent heard one word from them and most of there blessing arent very good. and talos's armor, come on, that is sick. i want something like that.

PLAYING AS A DRAGON

That is really cool idea that's why I started making it instead of waiting for DLC. lol here check it out , however it is work in progress yet http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4755

TU'UMIC

if you look on the nexus, there's a badass mod called thu'umic that accually lets you say the dragon shouts in your pc mic and it does them on screen. we need that! and they need to up the power of the shouts

Arch Henderson III - Sat. Jan. 21, 2012 at 11:04:13 AM

edit

we need it for xbox and pc mics. they also need to do what THU'UMic did and nullify the shout recharge, and silnce the sound files for them. much more immersion

Ysmir

The Greybeards declare you the new Ysmir, the dragonborns have ruled Tamriel for centuries. Gimme DLC that puts me on the throne of the entire empire and lead the Empire to smack down those arrogant elves who have been manipulating everything behind the scenes just so they can justify breaking the treaty and wiping mankind off the face of the planet. Let's see some wrath of Talos for banning worship. If not for Talos, Umaril the Unfeathered would still be alive and well biding time in Oblivion until his next return.

AKIVIRI INVASION

I've been waiting for war with the mysterious Akiviri since I read the in-game book in Morrowind, they're supposed to invade every 1000 years or so, and right now their about 150-200 years overdue, and with the dragons origionally being from Akivir, I think it would be very fitting. No offense to the ideas above, but the only good idea was Tamriel exploration, but not Hammerfell, Morrowind (all of it this time), Cyrodil, Summerset, or Daedric Princes' planes again

Adam Zuchowski - Sat. Jan. 21, 2012 at 09:22:01 AM

Think for just a moment

NOT an expansion of the WHOLE of Tamriel. That's pretty crazy, from my point of view, despite how much I'd love to play it. I think Expansions should inculde the ability to rebuild wounded towns, such as Whiterun and Solitude/Windhelm, and especially Helgen. At the cost of much gold of course. Dragon weapons would be nice, and the ability to craft the armour of particular factions like th forsworn, or the wolf armour. As for the main theme of a DLC, I think it should focus on the Aldmeri Dominion, and using an army to fight them in the Summerset Isles. It's just as important for the Empire as it is the Stormcloaks, moreso perhaps as the Stormcloaks just want independence. I'd like to be able to command soldiers, choose whether I have more archers, healers, or warriors in the fray, instead of somehow being a Rambo the whole way through. Not to say that you can't do it alone, it just seems to make more sense that you, as a high ranking officer during the civil war, has some say over troop movement. It would certainly save the war being over in one fell swoop because one man/woman joined the fight. And yes, I think you should have the Aldmeri as the enemy in this even if you are khajiit, Bosmer, or Altmer. But I am an Imperial at heart (Just not that race). Oh, and werebears. They're an important part of Skyrim Lore.

Atmora

A rerise in the dragon preist cult or something tieing in with the main quest or something, or boats coming from atmora with the original nords to take over hoever won (stormcloaks or imperials) would be nice. You might have to defend along the coast line in three or four different quests to learn their position and then take the fight to atmora itself. Having a realm like the shivering isles in game accessed by one/all of the northern coastal cities. Also the post about not having a static "cold war" would be good with the fight going both ways after attacking/defending whiterun as the other team randomly attacking forts, sabotage and even taking a hold, and being deceded by chance as he said beforehand.

Dragon riding with thrown weapons!

Bringing back the spears, crossbows, throwing knives and darts would prove very noteworthy. I would love the ability to mount a dragon and fly over the world, weilding a weapon like Mjollnir (Thor's hammer) and dispense lightning justice onto my foes from above in major battles, aerial and otherwise, the weapon always magicly returns to my throwing hand. Awesome with dual weilding! Harken back to one of the classic RPGs like Drakan and allow my flying steed multiple breath attacks while we fight other dragons and dragonriders and make one of the dragonriders a Daedric lord who somehow wrested Akatosh in his dragonform to do his bidding. Then maybe Akatosh is so greatful for the aid against said Daedra that he offers his company for the rest of the Dragonborn's life! Being able to create my own spells and enchantments with multiple effects would be great too. I really miss the levitation spells from Morrowind. Building a keep in any hold of my own with extensive Jarl quests to earn that type of nobility or creating my own hold altogether by battling the Jarls and their armies would tickle my brain endlessly. Creating a wizard's tower to the chagrin of Winterhold and/or the Psiijic Monks would be cool if it could be like a Telvanni construct, at least partially structured by magic enhanced growing mushrooms. Sweet.

Jesse Eerikäinen - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 11:12:44 PM

Did you notice

When the guards talk about the 'warriors carrying curved swords' they refer to the small hammerfell mercenary group who are after the princess. And there's a quest regarding their problem. Aside from that, a DLC that let's you visit other regions would be par excellence. I'd buy it the moment it comes out and even pay a little extra for it!

Robert Dahl - Sat. Jan. 21, 2012 at 02:27:27 AM

Ya, I noticed.

I just had to get me a set of them curved swords, so I slew one of them Alik'r and took his blades. He had two scimitars which I promptly upgraded to (Legendary)

New Dlc Specials.

Why not show more of the dwarven technology, maybe flying machines? being able to drive some kind of vehicle with storage and such on it aka a horseless carriage? hmmm? I also would be quite interested to see the ability to raise children, maybe add something to the game where you have time points you can go into and your children are older and older and you finally go on "the last quest" where your hero dies and you get the chance to be your son/daughter and go find their father/mother/your original character, try to save him and he/she tells you they love you and dies, then you have to avenge their death and do a whole new set of quests... I want to kill all thalmor... Oh and why not be able to make your own guild, bring followers to join and many more, be able to run it financially and fight other cities and finally rule skyrim, maybe the entire game? no?... I say YES.

reply to Arena

That would be a good idea, I mean they kinda made something like that in whiterun with the companions if look at it close enough, but it's not the same. I'd much rather have the arena and fighter's guild to. also if you look at my older posts there should be a way to make your own kingdom.

What I want.....

I CHEATED. Ok? People who know how know...anyway, I stopped with the book at 77, walk around, chest out, b----smack draugr watch them run terrified...lol Same with dragons. 40-50 kills? One hit Mammoths & Giants? So, more weapons? Not impressed...I wish Sheograth was as cool as in Oblivion. Snap his fingers, put u a million ft. in the air...funnier, too! His old world popped. I guess I want more of my fave madman! I actually want a fighting chance against him.

Chad Johnson - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 08:50:37 PM

OCD

I haven't had the chance in the game... mostly because it won't let me, BUT it stands to reason that I highly doubt chests are ALWAYS bolted to the ground securely. Let me move them!! I want a Giant-ass castle/lair in the middle of nowhere with all the comforts of any home and more along with a courtyard of easy access of all the forging, grinding and pounding equipment my heart desires, with movable/place-able Chests, Containers, End Tables, Wardrobes... etc.. etc.. AND the ability to re-name them to whatever I like so that my poor excuse for a brain can remember where I like to keep all my hoarded gatherings of my adventures! (i.e. Wardrobe=Ingredient closet set up right next to my Alchemy table, End table=Junk Drawer and as many mannequins as there are types of armors so as I may pace through my very elongated walk-in closet/Hidden Hallway lined with them adorning armor of every type so that I may put my finger to my lip and think.... "Hmm.. is it cold outside today? Fur Armor maybe? Do I feel like searching the bowels of a deep dark cave full of vampires and need heavy equipment? Steel plate? or Ebony perhaps? maybe even Daedric if I'm feeling extra strong and ate my bowl of frosted Slaughterfish scale flakes this morning?" Oh... an craftable arrows...

Chad Johnson - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 09:10:20 PM

But wait!... There's more!

Have the civil war really erupt openly rather than it having the "Cold war" feel it has now. Maybe with add a Risk style system where all the holds would be divided up in to a few sections each with the different factions waring over territory, Skyrim could have bursts of random conflicts everywhere involving more than just two or three factions depending on bordering territories and who owns them at the time. As territories and even entire holds are taken over, armies gain strength and "snowball" with the possibility of ruling the entire country, However; not so strong to the point where a well organized rebellion couldn't grow and over throw it to always keep it a developing matter... stuff always changing.. Skyrim would become quite lawless and barbaric almost if the Forsworn came to power... operate much more like Cyrodiil with the Imperials, Independent and laid back with the Nord/Stormcloak faction, Much more hellish and dark place where people very rarely leave their homes in terror with easy access to Oblivion when the Daedric Forces get involved and over-power the country. Sorry... these gears in my head just start turning and they don't want to stop! at the expense of all your patience and bleeding eyes and my ideas that could fill novels spill forth. Flood gates closed.. for now... muahahaha!

The New Realm.

The Thalmor invade Skyrim, But the Bretons and Orcs invade the Summerset Isles. So the Redguards fight the khajiit. Then the Deadra are summoned and invade. Dragons return again. Giants form a brute squad lead by Dagoth Ur to kill the Nervariane. The hero of Kvotch returns with the help of the shirtless Caius Cosades to fight the brute squad second in command Jiub. The Morag Tong and Commona Tang kill each other by carrying out contracts from the Six great houses. However the fighterâ€TMs guild files a copyright infringement on the Companions because they registered with the imperial Census & Excise Office and Warehouse prior. Martin Septim becomes enraged with the power of Umbra and destroys the sea of ghosts. Thus all 9 divines walk the land. Then Uriel Septim hires the dark brother hood to kill the nine divines, but they trick them because Fargoth became a wizard and had the whole brotherhood unders a spell. So the mages guild tries to get revenge for a budget cut that was caused by Fargothâ€TMs magic. So the mages employ the college of winterhold to kill fargoth. But the Solisthiem nords get incredibly jealous because they are real nords and real nords donâ€TMt do magic. Then the temple and tribunal begin sending harassing letters to Lucien Lachance but he never gets the mail because Kodlak whiteman pays the ogrims to steal his mail. Then the Grey Fox heard rumors of a stranger in Anvil who likes to place eggs all over Mistress Therana home in Tel Branora. So the floating city drops tendrils to make a zombie army. Baurus then finally tells you the son/daughter of the dovahkin and the gray prince and crazy batou and Annaig. That General Tullius wants needs your supreme combat talent to fight the cave rats that have invaded the home of Drarayne Thelas in balmora. SHE-O_GO R-RATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A pretty little butterfly landed on my nose, and I said...

GET UR FEET OFF ME BUG! But as far as Sheogo's-rathings, two much Morrowind and Oblivion, it feels unbalanced. Different Dragons!

I would love to play against different forms of dragons such as 2 headed dragons, dragon whelps with no legs who just swoop in in swarms and attack (with less damage), wingless dragons that will chase you into alleyways, dragons that do other stuff than just fire/ice! I want a black dragon that will summon undead to fight against me or green dragons that will have roots hold me in place, make trees fall towards me, and have trees turn into ents to fight me. Dragons should also heal when they eat town guards (and should swoop in and do this more often). A blue dragon that may pop up when you are by a large lake would be fun where they explode out of the water and attack and have them fly for shorter times (because they swim more often). Maybe even an ice dragon (and I mean it's scales look like icicals) that will shoot iseicals at you like one of the destruction spells and summon ice elementals (maybe coming off of its own scales) to fight you. Also I second the large scale battles and really want caravans to rob and to be able to start up my own sort of guild that may compete with the mages guild or dark brotherhood. Have a skill tree for your guild allowing you to choose their focus and even give boosts while in their buildings (or having recently trained in one) such as a boost to a skill (that you choose out of any, including enchanting). Oh and have enchanted weapons look a bit more badass. For instance fire enchanted swords have flames coming off of them. Also, bound dagger and shield would be good to add. My illusion/conjuration chaos assassin wants to pull his dagger from the nether before stabbing his victim!

I already had a list!

SKYRIMMMMMMMMMMMMM !!! love this game love bethesda games. they make the kind of games that really makes u enjoy a story, freedom, combat ,customization, exploration anything u can ask of a game!!. if u haven t play oblivion 4, Fallout 3 and vegas do it now before skyrim. now if u have u will understand why i did not gave a 5 star to skyrim. 1. is easier than previous games. 2. lockpicking is easier, 3.weapons and cloth dont get damaged dont have to worry ur fav set of equip is going down. 4. wild beast are safe. deers and fox and cute butterflies really? the giants have to be "provoked to attak u" and wolves are not even a problem they die in 1 hit. trolls and lions are scarce hiding in few places. I remember in oblivion u could not walk 3 minutes with out encountering a wild minotaur or such that chase ur ass 2 miles. 5. dragons always die. I haven't encounter a dragon that kill me yet (lev 30)are not a life or death situation really. 6. you get a partner too easy from the beginning basically, who will kill most enemies before u hit them....... all this things were in previous games and made everything more challenging. besides that everything else is really good and is worth playing. http://starlyns.com Read more: http://www.rateitall.com/i-6541628-skyrim.aspx#ixzz1k3dMGZXd

Ramifications

Since a lot of Skyrim is about the results of the war with the Aldmeri Dominion, let players go to other places (Cyrodil, though Hammerfell is what I'm thinking) and see what is happening there. And maybe have the final DLC be a second war against the Elves. Give players the chance to be a new Talos, using the Voice to defeat the elves and restore the glory of the empire, or shatter the empire and guarantee independence for Skyrim. I also love the idea of smaller character backstory DLCs, like Sapphire from the Thieves Guild.

Brandon Blackmer - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 06:30:52 PM

Going to new worlds

I think they should open up the borders so you can go see the empire like go to high rock, Teimrail, and everywhere and to be able to buy a boat and hire a crew and set sail on the water.

Kisa Silventine - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 05:05:34 PM

Really?

II don't know if I missed it somewhere in here or not... But how has no one mentioned Umbra? I would LOVE for tyem to bring it back, either to reforge it ( I mean, there are those soul gem fragments EVERYWHERE) or even travel to Clavicus Vile's realm and steal it. I read the novels, and no where does it say what happened to Umbra, Vuhon/Umbriel, or Sul. SPOILER ALERT: My theory is that Vile took all of them and the ingenium to his realm at the same time Mere-Glim transported everything else to wherever they went. Or if that's not what happened, then incorporate that history into an expansion pack where you end up traveling to the ruins of Umbriel.

Skyrim DLC or maybe a new game?

I like many of what everyone is asking for. expanding ES is just awesome anyways. But what I have been thinking of is making a DLC or expansion or next game, allowing us to revisit all the realms we have been to before in the older ES. But what is currently happening. You could have dragons attack anywhere, and add just side quests and caves, etc. into the areas we have cleared. But I think it would be awesome to go back to oblivion or morrowind and see what has become of them now. How things have been rebuilt, what new troubles are happening, new thives guild missions or dark brotherhood missions in the old areas. I wouldnt mind travelling the world on a dragon or a horse (if they were faster) just to see whats new in the old worlds.

Francis Christopher Cincotti - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 04:44:07 PM

Becoming a Jarl (Xbox Expansion)

I'd played through the game 5 time already and its still addicting. I'd like to see that since there is a civil war going on, after you become a jarl or after the main quest fight to become high king or emperor. It did say in the game that the Dragonborn are the original emperors of tamerial...

Dustin Allen Hardig - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 04:39:49 PM

Kicking some High Elven ass!

Make a DLC for the Next great war where we finally slam the Aldmeri Dominion and make the war last for hours. The intervention of the divines, the appearance of Daedric Princes, the war to end all wars. Let that come after (or if) they give us the other regions with it all ending on Summerset Isle Fighting some ancient Ayleid force brought back by the Dominion to turn the tide with you turning in to some Bad ass Demi god for the battle.... or the horse thing. that would be cool.

Ty W. - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 04:37:21 PM

A Couple Things

Can I have a DLC that gives me a sword like the Iron Sword but is the best sword in the game? lololol I love the simple medieval look of the Iron Sword but obviously it sucks statistically. Oh well. That and how about more Sheogorath. Sure Oblivion had Shivering Isles but why stop there? Not having more time with the Daedric Prince of Madness is driving me mad!

Orlandito Cruz - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 04:14:48 PM

Co op

bring co op in skyrim be funner to have a buddy with, also another place like shivering isles would be nice, a story for thalormor, add dwarv's for a race. dragon weps and what not new armor weps speak of it, some battle arena back, another dlc to go back to the dragon story line like another shivering isle, big battle's co op would make this game so much better, dragonborn quest, more deadric quest and add more deadric creature's with there own little realm with more quest there and co op game play still, dragon's as a mount horse's suck ass to slow, shadow mere is ok but once gon he is dead for good, so many idead's i cant' name them all..

Reason to save those septims!!

Agreed about the thieves guild backstory expansions, especially Sapphire! There's an opportunity for some real character development. Maybe option to own a castle, and the ability to move 10 or so of your favorite companions inside. I think we definitely must take on the Thalmor but that might be material for the next TES game, cause they are such a threat that a 3 hr campaign wouldn't seem like doing justice. I loves the Daedric world idea someone had, leaving with horns or halo or just some permanent mark of your moral choice. Finding a live dwemer would erase a lot of mystery for me though. And I'd love to see the arena back in Skyrim. Finally, more weapons & armor & things to give companions & house decor BUT at extremely inflated prices so we have a reason to keep stealing n looting after gold is 200k +

Wow

Dwemer are dwarves genius, the elven name for them is dwarf. Otherwise it wouldn't have DWARVEN armor and weapons.

Ricky Lockwood - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 04:14:31 PM

Sort of...

Dwemer means Deep Elves, like Dunmer means Dark Elves.

Robert Corey III - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 05:17:48 PM

The Dwemer weren't actually dwarves

As Ricky said, Dwemer means deep elves. Their difference to normal elves in how they acted, intelligence and habitat from other elves got them the sort of racist nickname dwarven. Texts and references throughout all the Elder Scrolls games mentioned that and mentioned that they also were a normal size meaning they weren't short at all, nor did they look anything like average dwarves we see in other games/stories. They also never called themselves dwarven.

Lloyd Smith - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 03:38:37 PM

DLC!

Now what we can talk about awsome dlc all day, but what would REALLY make a dlc is another adventure into a deadra's realm! I wanna see Peryites' realm! Also being a dragon is an awsome DLC

Josh Morgan - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 03:30:12 PM

Daedric God's Realm

The daedric demon gods are still around in Skyrim. I really liked the haunted house in Markarth. Was almost scary and a bit demented. Why not dive deeper? Why not make the daedric gods (or just one) wisp you away to their realm? No not a gate to oblivion -_- I'm thinking something darker and more...hellish. Like Amnesia: The Dark Descent style castle with daedric enemies and architecture. Host a rebellion within this realm and maybe even give the option to side with the Gods there or the underlings. Throw some more daedric lore and items in the game and really give a feel for this dark realm. Going a bit overboard but u could even give the player a sorta good or bad appearance change at the end depending with wat you do. Leave the daedric realm with horns or shining with a halo. Idk just some little extra thing as a reward for beating the dlc.

Justin Stamper - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 03:25:37 PM

MORE DAEDRA BETHESDA!!

skyrim had a pathetic amount of creatures to fight in general compared to the other elder scrolls game, but daedra were almost completely left out of the mix. Bethesda needs to give us more daedra. where's my xivilai, clanfears, daedroths, and scamps Bethesda? WHERE!?

Veli-Matti Rantanen - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 11:10:28 PM

Read your lore

After the events of TESIV, the gates to Oblivion were shut permanently, preventing the Daedra from invading Tamriel ever again. Apparently, only the more powerful Daedra can influence Tamriel any longer - the princes (Sheogorath, Sanguine...). Still, the casters can summon creatures from the planes of Oblivion, although being limited to only more spectral forms of creatures. Only the princes are capable of calling a small amount of Daedras to Tamriel.

Michael Athanasoglou - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 03:20:01 PM

A more realistic scenario for a DLC, unlike other posters

Anyone who has read the book "The Great War" (if you havent read it, find it in the game ASAP or go to uesp.net and search for it there, it's much too important a read to be missed) will know that the Thalmor are a patient bunch, often waiting for decades at a time before striking swiftly. I believe that in Skyrim, they're only biding their time, waiting for the civil war to end and for both sides to be weakened by their own squabbling, before making their move. A strike now will only cause the Stormcloaks and Imperials to unite against them. Not good. So what if the Thalmor wait after the civil war has ended and make their final push against humanity. That would be a pretty awesome DLC (I dont see as big as to be an expansion pack). Tamriel as a whole is just not happening guys, I mean come on now. And as for Akavir, I believe Bethesda should cover the entirety of Tamriel first before moving to that continent. There's just so much more to see in Tamriel: the Alik'r Desert, the magical forests of Valenwood, mysterious Black Marsh, Alinor... you name it. Maybe we'll visit Akavir in TES VIII or something.

Andrew Burger - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 03:12:42 PM

The Dwemer

Totally add a lost city where you actually accounted them and what not. Why are there no short little dwarves to amuse my fancy? Huh? Maybe even as it as a race or something. Dragon Age Origins did an excellent job of adding these long lost midgets. Yes. In Dragon Age they were also ones of fable being they were never seen. Only few exsisted. But they had a whole freaken city. Where are the secret Dwemer cities with secret Dwemer little people? I want a little four foot nothing companion dammit.

Ellen Arnhold - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 03:40:29 PM

Veli-Matti Rantanen - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 11:14:04 PM

...

Except that these things are not exactly short or anything like that, and were not as much up-close-and-personal in combat as actual dwarves - they are even categorized as elves(Mer) in UESP.

Sergio Romero Jiménez - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 04:03:18 PM

Dwemers are dead/disappeared

They are all dead or disappeared in some way. It's explained in the Lore: they tried to ascend to godhood or something like that... and turned to ashes. Well, except one, that you find in Morrowind. And they are not typical dwarves. Actually, they are as tall as humans... and are based on Mesopotamic stuff, not Norse.

Audie Garver - Sun. Jan. 22, 2012 at 04:00:43 PM

Not dwarves

If you ever played Morrowind you'd know that dwarves are actually the same height as a high elf, their ghost haunting their ruins in Skyrim were maybe 5 to 6 feet, pretty tall. While yes it does say Dwarven they are not actually dwarves, in Morrowind the armor was Dwemer, they changed it in Oblivion, they are elves about the size of wood elves...

Tom Carter - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 03:11:31 PM

stuuf

I think that for a DLC, Bethesda should put in a crazy weapon. One such as a compound bow, very modern but primitive in its way like in Skyrim. And as a melee style type weapon, i think a sort of KBAR combat knife would be sweet. Still Skyrim in its style. Also the ability to forge arrows would be awesome because im really friken tired of running out in dire moments.

Veli-Matti Rantanen - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 11:03:15 PM

rofl

apparently you haven't played oblivion. The second the modders get their hands on Creation Kit, they'll make you the knife, if they have not yet made it. Furthermore, it is already possible to forge arrows with a mod. Compound bow? Does not fit the lore, unless you want some kind of specialized Dwemer **** that doesn't exactly fit the description of a "bow."

Robert Dahl - Sat. Jan. 21, 2012 at 12:55:57 AM

Compound Bows and KBARs?

Lame. Come now, those belong in a CoD game. Why are you running out of arrows? I pick up most that I find because they have NO ENCUMBERANCE VALUE. I am way overstocked with them and 80% of my attacks come from the bow, albeit from the shadows mostly, but still.

SOLEDAD

Luke Richardson - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 03:04:24 PM

biggest dlc ever

for starters better weapons not the same ones they had in oblivion change it like dragon swords if u can make armour why not swords. another thing bows are so last era bring in cross bows same as bows but fasts and when u make a dadric one it fires two arrows or is automatic. horses are to slow and boring and they cant fly we want to ride dragons should be able to tame a dragon fight it then get on its back and rid it. another realm like shivering ils or be able to travle to hammerfell or morowind. and make it only available to consoles i have seen to many videos of poeple say look how good i am and they used the console command if they are goin to take the fun out of the game right away then they dont deserve it. the dlc has to have new quests like we should b able to go back in time to the great war and fight b yisgrmor's side (i no i didnt spell that right) or if u flavour elves you should b able to fight along side the elves. new shout powers if the idea of being dragon born stays. i have so many ideas for this game its madness i should help bethesda design it :)

Ellen Arnhold - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 03:47:14 PM

...

Hello, Luke! I would like to introduce you to a certain punctuation mark. Can you guess which one it is?

Steve Cox - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 06:21:00 PM

nub console player:

You said " and make it only available to consoles i have seen to many videos of poeple say look how good i am and they used the console command if they are goin to take the fun out of the game right away then they dont deserve it." perhaps you spend to much time watching videos I for one have not seen any such videos of anyone claiming any particular prowess in this game then using a "cheat" Also I dont think anyone on a PC used console commands right away but even if some did to think that DLC would be for people who play on consoles only is just dumb. Most people who play consoles claim to do so because a really amazing PC is cost prohibitive if this si truly the case then you probably cant afford the DLC either.

Robert Dahl - Sat. Jan. 21, 2012 at 01:19:14 AM

cat ***

crossbows are not faster than bows. supposedly more accurate but definitely longer range, and automatic? wtf? and why worry about spelling Ysgramor if only a few people can comprehend your chaotic rant lacking puntuation?

Michael O'Quin - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 03:03:54 PM

More Ideas!

How about a perk that lets you shoot more than one arrow at a time? Some more cool/rare weapons and armor, including dragon bone and dragon scale weapons, would be nice. Also why can a character with 10 fingers only wear one ring? I would love to see crossbows and some new animal companions make it into the game. And i completely agree with the article when it mentioned big-scale battles, that would be epic! But even if none of these make it, I will still love this game! As always, awesome job Bethesda!!!!

Steve Cox - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 06:25:11 PM

Amazing!!

Michael I wondered the same thing! hell my rings IRL do nothing and I still wear more than one if they made me stronger or magical i would wear two on each finger! Also necklaces, I mean I dont want to rock it like Mr.T but I can get a couple good necklaces going :)

Johnny Spring - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 03:03:31 PM

Orsinium

I read on a loading screen that Orsinium was a small mountain kingdom of orcs. Apparently too small to see on the map. So if it's that small it would have to be dlc unless they want to make the smallest elder scroll game ever.

Jessalyn Lauree' - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 03:01:53 PM

Dragons as companions/mounts.

Seriously, it would be ******* awesome.

Simon Skitz Redondo - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 02:56:56 PM

Play against the character you created.

The idea is this : The dragonborne took alduin's soul, but in time, the soul's wickedness lived inside him and took over the dragonborne. Now, you must go up against the VERY CHARACTER YOU CREATED with a few buffs and upgrades. Wouldnt that be cool at the same time challenging. You nurtured your character and in the end, you have to figure out how to beat the **** out of it.

Better Magic

I found that being a wizard in Skyrim ment you were squishy...my brothers archery at 100 can kill a bandit but my stupid lightning bolt only stuns them...If i have 100 in destruction I want other master level destruction spells that are single target and single target at range. im sick of a huge long spell that takes forever to cast that leaves me vulnerable to getting face stomped.

Chris Salazar - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 02:43:23 PM

IDEA

i think they should add in more with the dwarves and maybe we may hopefully see them in a secret underground city

Caloma Monster Prior - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 02:43:19 PM

another idea

60 years later, play as Dovakiin's offspring, and deal with a grander war, like empire vs rebels, aldmeri dominion vs nords, bretons vs redguards...

Caloma Monster Prior - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 02:41:52 PM

Hammerfell/High Rock

people seem to have looked over what happened in the past between the Redguards and the Bretons. what happened between them sparked the whole Forswarn thing! Imagine after the Dragon war, the forswarn were pushed back into high rock, and tensions rose between the bretons and redguards again. a full on war erupts conquest is the goal. Dovakiin steps in to help either the redguards, or bretons, or to end the fued. sounds like the empire/stormcloak civil war in skyrim... kinda, but on a larger scale... more land to explore and side quests to defeat!

Sean Sutton - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 02:41:30 PM

Multiplayer

I would love to see multiplayer on skyrim, especially co-op play coz it will make the game twice as awesome and fun to play. i love skyrim soo much and in my opinion it would take skyrim to the next level.

Ben White - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 02:37:30 PM

Also...

Dagoth Ur! what happened to him? He disappeared when the place started collapsing, would be awesome if people could take their shouts to red mountain and fight him again, or join him.

Ben White - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 02:34:34 PM

Riding dragons, Vvardenfell and Co-op!

1 - Let us actually ride around on Ovadiing (i forgot his name) the red friendly dragon, and burn stuff!! 2 - Let us go back to morrowind, the game was one of the best, revisiting it in HD would be brilliant 3 - Co-op where one person can only join one other persons game (like dark souls) but no restrictions on level, that'd be the best as it wouldn't compromise the great single player aspect and storyline (mainly as everyone will have done alot) Poeple could help eachother or fight eachother, would probably make the games life span infinite.

Caloma Monster Prior - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 02:44:48 PM

How 'bout werebears? or Weretrolls? ...WEREHORKERS? But in general, more armor and weapon recipes would be nice. Being able to travel to other places as well (I.E; Major DLC that brings you to other places, and not sends you on a quest for armor in the already existing land of skyrim.)

Alessia Evenia - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 02:32:42 PM

All I can say is no.

In so many ways, no. First of all, obsessive-compulsive disorder is not "I need to do this because I can." Read the DSM before self-diagnosing. Now that's out of the way, DLC is BAD. DLC is an insult to gamers. Bethesda needs to go back to doing the right thing -- releasing EXPANSION PACKS. I'd address some problems with your suggestions, but I get the nagging sensation this is almost exclusively sarcastic.

Nick Lujan - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 02:32:08 PM

more realistic course

They should give us castles or palaces to live in...a small battalion....they did it on eldest scrolls and it rocked and came in handy...and the wizard tower would be cool again

Dragon Weapons

**** yeah man i was kinda annoyed as hell the first time i got my smithing to a 100 an found out i couldnt make dragon born or scale weapons after all would it be so damn hard considering that the forsworn weapons are made of bone that dont mean i dont love the game but another dlc i would just love t see or maybe even just in a patch but how about the option of been able to build a damn house thats not in a city just like you could in morrowind but of course with the option of building it anywhere even at the throat of the world. After all who wouldnt want to look out your window an see dragons flying around your house but honestly id just take been able to build a house somewhere thats not behind a loading screen somewhere like rorikstead or the cliff overlooking morthal just above the burnt house an various over locations with way better views an vistas. an while im talking about houses how about making the availability of more people been open to marriage cause i love anga the young sexy nord women who lives south of falkreach who gives you free archery lessons oh maybe ingram black briar which im surprised she wasnt an option to begin with an plenty more people who could be marriage partners an how about the option of been a true nord of skyrim an having multiple wives or in this case a wife in every city but i think ive gone on enough right about now

Grammar

Do you not believe in punctuation or proper grammar? The only reason I point this out is because we have the same name and I don't want people confusing me with you...

The Thalmor must be defeated.

It's logical in the story progression if you played as a Stormcloak. (Not as evident if you played as an Imperial). For Skyrim!

a grand war it would be too!!!

MULTIPLAYER MULTIPLAYER MULTIPLAYER

definately multiplayer......I'm 40 now and have been playing this franchise since it came out with ARENA. For Skyrim....Multiplayer would rock.....Otherwise......for your next game.....expand the map to all of Tamriel like in Arena. One province at a time is really limiting me......the map in Arena spoiled us

Anders Salvesen - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 02:17:53 PM

skyrim dlc

One dlc i want to see is the rebuild of the WHOLE tamriel with new questes, new danger and many new items. cause exploring is my main priority in skyrim and with the size of how big tamriel actually is the game would then be perfect!

Tim LaValley - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 02:17:08 PM

Return of Dwemer

Who else would think it bad ass if the Dwemer returned. Or going to the continent of Akavir where the dragons and humans thought it of as the weakest, thatd propose a challenge

Cole Gonzales - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 08:07:33 AM

WHat the heck?

Expert single one of these suggestions are completely ridiculous Yes. Some of them would be cool, but you are retarded man! How do you expect Bethesda to do something like that? You throw these requests out like they don't already give us enough. Wewe aren't entitled to anything. Be happy with what they gave us, and maybe THEN they will decide to up the ante for us. But most of these suggestions require entire new game scripts, you are probably Y the most ungrateful gamer I have ever heard of.

Eugene Fomin - Fri. Jan. 20, 2012 at 08:24:22 AM

Multiplayer

Two words: Multiplayer, Arena... imagine the arena like in oblivion... 10x bigger or 25x bigger, imagine battles on the scale of those of the movie gladiator fighting along side or against fellow gamers in massive stand offs, imagine going into a finisher right beside your brother in arms, imagine war-like scenarios not only with but against other REAL people, imagine seeing how fellow warriors square off and match your might against theres, imagine TES pvp, imagine a thing like never before.... imagine the bloodbath

As far as mods go...

Just go look at the youtube video for Skyrim Midas Magic. I'll even link it here, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Locc2VYNEho . That right there, Bethesda should look at it, see how well it's done, and then turn it into a DLC. Who wouldn't mind an extra 100 spells?

If we had a mod manager a gamer could make that on Xbox

The title is self explanatory

Joe VanZalen - Thu. Jan. 19, 2012 at 07:45:24 AM

We Consol Gamers Need A Mod Manager For Xbox and PS3

All I really want is the mod manager the PC gamers have. I spent months trying to figure out how to get player made mods on Oblivion but never could. I want to be able to get Marts Monster Mod and Skyrim Overhaul and Feint Death. If Bethesda would do this all consol gamers would go nuts over it especially the next Nehrim game. I would download that so fast. So once again Bethesda, please give us consol gamers player made mods. NO OTHER DLC CAN COMPARE TO BEING ABLE TO DOWNLOAD PLAYER MADE MODS!!!!

Tom Ellingsen - Sat. Jan. 21, 2012 at 01:08:54 AM

NOT THAT EASY.

It's not that easy, mate. Not even taking legal rights into consideration here, mods aren't just a file that automatically gets implemented, but something that needs implementation in the proper files, in the proper code sections. Considering the PS3 and the 360 alone use different programming language, it becomes a lot more work for that one mod you so desperately desire. Get the game on PC and make your own mods, man :)

The Empire Strikes Back - With Dragonborn!

Alright so those of you who loved just about everything about The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, might understand where I'm coming from. That is, if you either A: Play an Imperial or Nord. Or B: Don't 100% Hate Imperials or Nords. Or C: Hate ****y ass *******. What I want for the upcoming Skyrim DLC, is for the Imperial Legion/Storm Cloaks take the fight against some of the biggest ***** on Skyrim - The Thalmor/Aldmeri Dominion. I personally, absolutely hate them, kill them every time I see them because of their pompous ego's and "We're clearly the best race" well you know what? We got Dragonborn, and we're coming for you, *******.

Joe Mullen - Thu. Jan. 19, 2012 at 01:52:06 AM

**SPOILER** Sovengarde??

Am I the only one who thinks that Sovengarde is the best looking part of the game?? But the short time you spend there is nothing more than a mere tease on Bethesda's part... I would like to see some evil force challenge the realm of Sovengarde and need to once more call upon the Dragonborn to get rid of it... Then maybe be able to revisit whenever you please with some added functionality and rooms to the big ass hall that I can never remember the name of..

Ritwick Baruah - Wed. Jan. 18, 2012 at 08:31:57 PM

moot continued

oh and during the final fight companions and dark brotherhood also join in taking the dragonborn to do special missions which will help in the coming battle...the mages guild help behind lines with restoration and wards.

Ritwick Baruah - Wed. Jan. 18, 2012 at 07:40:56 PM

selecting a new king in skyrim-a nirn-trotting adventure

it would be really cool if a dlc is set after the dragon crysis...the moot is selecting a new high king, thalmor are scared that if a new new king is appointed humans will rally behind him. they persuade the dark elves to start a riot in windhelm and create a fog thorough the seas to hide their army/navy...windhelm is lost eventually (the dragonborn reaches the gate but dark create a magical barrier, so he cant enter) thalmor begin to destroy the city of solitude(dragon born has to help the new king to escape solitude, take him to high hrothgar) with only dawnstar left as a port town all skyrim forces dragonborn included defend dawnstar, after the battle a messenger tells dragonborn to call for help from hammerfell, he now has to convince the redgaurds to send help to skyrim(a walder frey like character would be nice) finally he arrives at skyrim with allies from hamerfell, cyrodill, elsewyr. the thalmor are attacking high hrothgar and the grey beards are dead defending it(paaathrunax joins in calling in a few named dragons, if paathrunax is dead then oddaving) despite heavy losses the thalmor destroy half of high hrothgar...and descend on the plains of whiterun where the dragonborn and his army finally fight them...

Oblivion Realm

I want to be able to go to an Oblivion Realm, and perhaps work my way up to control it. Something like the Shivering Isles from Oblivion. Now that would be great.

Seth Dunn - Wed. Jan. 18, 2012 at 12:04:39 PM

I beat every main and side quest...

i am bored...it's the best game i've EVER played...but i was so addicted i played it day and night with 8-10 hours a day...some people might not see that as addicted..but i never play more than 1-2 hours a day..there are a million glitches i have permanently into my save file..there needs to be reason for me to start my game over...new races, weapons, npcs, SPELLS (I HATE HOW I CAN'T FIND AN INVISIBILTY SPELL THAT USES MAGICKA AND ISNT ALLOWED ONLY ONCE A DAY THERE NEEDS TO BE A LOT MORE SPELLS), but most of all worlds..shivering isles was a great idea..it didnt need to be a tamriel mainland..but a huge section of the Elder Scrolls World...in fact is would be awesome to get a location from Nirn...everyone is obsessed with tamriel..there are other locations in the world of ES

Donald Young - Wed. Jan. 18, 2012 at 05:56:27 PM

Invisibility spell

Invisibility is a master level spell you have to do a quest to get it. The NPC that trains illusion at the college sells it once the quest is complete. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Illusion_Ritual_Spell

Truly Awesome

I'd Draugr the crap out of Skyrim.

Phillip Smith - Wed. Jan. 18, 2012 at 10:25:52 AM

Definitely some things like these would be cool!

You know, many of the things you are asking for here have already been realized by fans through mods. For example, there are many mods that add new armors and crafting options, sometimes changing their stats, and sometimes new weapons... check out Tytanis - The Ultimate Mod (here: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1601... and one of the next updates for that mod will include horse armor!). And someone else has made "Wars in Skyrim", a mod that increases the number of enemies, so that the different factions (Stormcloaks, Imperials, bandits, vampires, etc.) encounter each other a lot more, and sometimes in higher numbers, so you can have some pretty fun battles... Note these are PC only, so sorry console players... but I agree, official DLC from Bethesda, along those lines would be great, especially for the console owners. @Joseph: I agree... I just ran into Rune, and I am pretty interested in his backstory... where he came from, what the runes on his thing mean... That definitely would make for an excellent story!

Sal Basile - Wed. Jan. 18, 2012 at 12:02:46 PM

Mods

Thanks for reading! Mods will always be that, mods. To get some Bethesda official DLC of the same type, like you said, is always something exciting. And, like you said, the console players can join in too!

Joseph Michael Benton - Wed. Jan. 18, 2012 at 09:40:33 AM

certain backstorys quests.

this wouldnt be a very big dlc, so it would have to be part of another one. but a lot of members of the thieves guild have really cool backstorys, but their never "solved" ESPECIALLY RUNE, his backstory could lead all the way to another land!!

Sal Basile - Wed. Jan. 18, 2012 at 12:04:03 PM

Interesting!

Thanks for reading! I'd like to jump into the back story of a few characters as well!

My idea for Skyrim DLC

What I think would be awesome is if the DLC takes place in Akavir: the Dragon Land. Two reasons - one: at the start of Skyrim after you have fought the giant spiders Hadvar says "what's next giant snakes?" and Akavir is home to the Tsaesci a race of giant snakes. My second reason - being Akavir is where the Nerevarine was last heard from, and being that the character pretty much had god like powers it would be awesome if you had a 'search for the Nerevarine' quest (but you would have to I guess be able to choose what kind of race the Nerevarine is because he was an Imperial when I played Morrowind.)

Sal Basile - Wed. Jan. 18, 2012 at 09:39:25 AM

Awesome!

I would play this the minute it was released. Thanks for reading!
