Mustang Women Finish 6th at CIS Championships

Attached are results from today's battle on the Plains of Abraham. Light artillery struggled with the muddy course compounded by sharp switchback turns on the bottom of downhill slopes while snow flurries flew from off the St.Lawrence. It was the big guns who prevailed today.
Jen Bays, who was 68th at last year's Nationals finished 8th today to earn the top spot on 2nd Team All-Canadian.
In the Women's race, the pollsters were rather accurate as the top 6 teams coming in to today's competition finished in the top 6 out of a total field of 19 teams. Western was seeded 5th and finished 6th behind McGill - each team had the same score but the CIS rules have the 5th finisher per team break the tie.
We fought well!
