WATERLOO, Ont. – The Western Mustangs men’s volleyball team lost their first game of the season Saturday night at the Physical Activities Complex in Waterloo. Facing a .500 Waterloo Warriors team, the Mustangs were downed in five intense sets, after winning the first two.
Set scores were 25-17, 25-18, 26-28, 23-25 and 13-15.
Offensively,
Phil James (15 kills, 4 aces, 3 digs) and
Alan Screaton (11 kills, 1 ace, 14 digs) led the Mustangs.
Cameron Wheelan led the Warrriors with 19 points (17 kills, 2 aces, 12 digs).
