What is RSS?

To distribute headlines and stories, CBR has chosen the popular news syndication format called RSS. RSS (or Really Simple Syndication) feeds are free content feeds from Web sites, including ComicBookResources.com, that contain article headlines, summaries and links back to full-text articles on the web.

As of September 22nd, we've just launched our RSS service. If you have any comments or suggestions, feel free to send an e-mail to our Webmaster.

What do I need to get to use RSS?

To start using one of these feeds, you need a special news reader or aggregator that displays RSS content feeds from the Web sites you select. There are many different news readers available, many of which are free of charge. Most are available as desktop software that you download and install on your computer. Several Web-based news readers are available as well.

If you're a Windows user you might want to consider the free FeedReader. Mac users might want to check out NetNewsWire. And here's a list of news readers via Google. Download one of those programs, then come back here.

Why should I use RSS?

RSS is an easy way for you to be alerted when content that interests you appears on your favorite Web sites. Click on the section title link to obtain the RSS URL, which you will see in the \"Address\" field of of your browser. Simply copy this URL and follow the instructions for your particular news reader to subscribe.

How can I sign up for RSS feeds from ComicBookResources.com?

Simply select the ComicBookResources.com section that interests you from the list at the top of this page. Click on the orange XML button or section title and follow the instructions for your particular news reader to subscribe to RSS feeds.
