Fall Forum 2011 Multimedia

The National Conference of State Legislatures held its 2011 Fall Forum Nov. 30-Dec. 2 in Tampa, Fla.

The meeting focused on how best to advance the States' Agenda and tackle the difficult policy issues of our time, including budget gaps, health care coverage, education affordability, transportation funding, energy costs and many others.

Attendees heard from economist John Rutledge, experts on state pension reform and education leaders on how to grapple with the challenges in K-12 education during continued fiscal hard times.
