This service, provided by NCSL to its legislative members, is free of charge and is also extended to federal and local government agencies and private sector organizations.

If you respond to an announcement from this list, let the office that you are contacting know where you learned about their opening.

Submit Job Opportunities for Posting on NCSL's Web Site

• State Legislatures:  Legislative offices in the states are invited to submit either a URL for their list of job openings or a document file in MSWord, HTML or PDF format that contains the job announcement.

• Other Organizations:  NCSL will post or link to federal and local government positions and positions related to public or legislative policy that may be of interest to legislative staff.  Submit either a URL for the job openings or a document file in MSWord, HTML or PDF format that contains the job announcement.

• Deadlines for Position Openings:  Information submitted that does not include an application deadline date will reflect the deadline as "Open until filled" and be removed from the NCSL Web site after 30 days unless we receive a request for an extension.  When requesting an extension, include the documents tabid number (five digit number at the end of the files URL) with your request.
