W Club Alumni

The "W" Club is an organization of former male intercollegiate athletes. The club began in 1957 and was the first chapter of Western Alumni Association. Every male intercollegiate athlete is automatically a member.

The mission of the "W" Club is the enhancement and support of Western's intercollegiate athletic program.

Some of the activities that the "W" Club performs to fulfill its mission are:

• their Newsletter
• the J.P. Metras Sports Museum (in Alumni Hall)
• helping with team reunions
• the "W" Sports Hall of Fame (pictures in Alumni Hall)
• Homecoming
• golf tournament
• receptions

We welcome ideas, suggestions, pictures, artifacts and volunteers.
