More 'escort' websites surface in connection to women found in trunks in Detroit

A Phoenix-based classified advertising website says it's provided Detroit police with information about 70 sex-related ads on 22 other websites related to an investigation involving four women found dead in car trunks.

Backpage.com released a statement Thursday identifying the names of websites it found with postings or ads that appear linked to the case.

Backpage.com attorney Steve Suskin said he isn't aware of evidence indicating which of the 22 websites might have been used to contact victims. Police have said three of the four victims placed escort ads on Backpage.com.

Sgt. Eren Stephens wouldn't confirm police received the information but says officers are investigating any leads brought to them.

Funeral services were held Thursday for two victims, 24-year-old Demesha Hunt and 23-year-old Renisha Landers. Relatives say the cousins weren't escorts.

“Escort” is a cleansing euphemism of “hooker.” Political correctness has watered down the freedom and right to press. Gee golly…lets not offend this group of, ah…people.
