The Industry Development Officer assists the Faculty of Science (FOS) researchers, including students (undergraduate and graduate) and Post doctoral fellows in matters related to industrial interactions. The incumbent is to develop a strategic industry development plan for the FOS identifying key sectors and industries to target. In addition, the Industry Development Officer is to facilitate contract research in the FOS by connecting industrial partners with selected researchers and by identifying research areas, projects or Centres in FOS that are, or can be, aligned with the needs of industrial sector.
