Michigan State Spartans Links: Down a few players in Tampa

- Long snapper Matt Giampapa's suspension and wide receiver Bennie Fowler's foot injury will keep the pair out of the Outback Bowl against Georgia. Fowler has only player in a few games all season and is low on the depth chart behind a deep corps of wide receivers. There is one unnamed player who did not travel to Tampa because of academic issues, but he may head down later. [LSJ]
- It may be a warmer-than-normal winter here in Michigan, but it still doesn't compare to to beautiful weather in Florida. MSU cranked up the heat in the indoor practice facility before heading to Tampa. Now in Florida, the Spartans are getting used to the Florida weather. [Freep]
