The latest comment is posted by Rabbit Leo from outside of Baltimore, in Maryland about Beds Are Burning - Midnight Oil | Place: Kintore Mountains, AustraliaMidnight Oil are brilliant and Peter Garrett is one of the angrier frontmen/songwriters in Classic Rock. Their signature hit Beds Are Burning is an Oz-Rock Classic and live concert staple. The song itself has to do wi the plight of Australia's aborigines-and why they haven't been treated fairly sin England colonized Waltzing Matilda/Down Under in 1788. In Beds Are Burning, Peter screams "The Time Has Come to Say Fair's Fair!...It Belongs to Them!/Let's Give It Back!...How do we sleep while our beds are burning? We Americans are asking the same question because hard times/recession/inequality have retured with a vengeance? I ask Peter-"Why can't we all just get along with each other? Beautiful and Sad Protest Anthem Rocker. The Oils will Never be Forgotten! Australia Forever!
