Joint-Use Libraries: A Bibliography

ALA Library Fact Sheet Number 20

The following is a selected list of articles, books, and web sites covering the subject of combined and joint-use libraries. This Fact Sheet covers the two most common types of combined libraries: public libraries combined with school library media centers and public libraries combined with academic libraries. The citations in those sections are purposefully listed in reverse chronological order (i.e., from newest to oldest). For citations prior to 1999, please contact us. For more current references, please check the Joint-Use page at the ALA Professional Tips Wiki at < http://wikis.ala.org/professionaltips>.
