In 2003, the Hubble Space Telescope took the image of a millenium, an image that shows our place in the universe. Anyone who understands what this image represents, is forever changed by it.
How Can the universe be 78 billion LY across? I explain that in this article:
http://www.deepastronomy.com/hubble-deep-field.html
There is also a link to a science paper on the topic, that paper actually states 96 billion LY.

@mstrephoenix1 i was thinking the same exact thing. do they think it's fake? or just not interesting? lol
What if there were different elements and laws of physics for each galaxie?that would be sweet
@GeneralParadigm
"rich harvest". Okay, maybe we can expect a metaphor about planting, growing, nurturing etc?..."planted the seeds", right, so far so good. So if you should throw in another metaphor it'll be along the same lines, perhaps about feeding our hunger for knowledge?...here it comes..."brighter tomorrow"...oh, that's a shame. Couldn't you maintain the agricultural theme? You were doing fine and then it unravelled with that jarringly incongruent denouement. Lazy. What a let down...
The Deep Field Image (DFI) provides a rich harvest of information for Astronomers, everywhere. Therein has Hubble planted the seeds, of a brighter tomorrow.
@the1957dead
Please say that you are aware of the self depreciating irony inherent in "humans assume too much" after everything you typed before it. I hope so and you aren't humourlessly witless and self-unaware. It seems likely that you use your brain or you wouldn't be typing at all. The question is what are you using your brain for? Assuming that your claims are certainly correct and anyone is certainly incorrect if they don't accept that your certainty is justified? Say it aint so...
@BeatleEDs
If anyone else had typed "think" I'd assume it was a typo and they meant "thing". I suspect that you might well actually mean "think" though...
So if light is not the fastest think in the universe, how does that change the interpretation of this image? I dont know, I'm just curious.
@the1957dead -- I have. That is called string theory.
....the 78 billion light year space that is called the universe, is nothing more than one of many bubbles in space that exploded and created what is seen today, beyond this area of space is a vast area in which there is an area that is filled with a very dense dust, then you will find another area that has exploded and has filled that area with things similar to what you see here, humans assume too much.I'm human too, but I use my brain, you are stuck in your universe, I am not. Think about it.
