A 1952 Humber Snipe formerly owned by HRH The Queen Mother is among a classic collection of Humber cars owned by potato merchant Allan Marshall in Hull, England. Marshall has 26 Humbers, many with royal and government histories. The vehicles were all hand built by coach builders Thrupp and Maberly in Coventry for the car company founded by Thomas Humber.

"'Would you like a glass of Champagne?' asks a waiter.
"'No, but I could murder a cup of tea,' I reply.

Lunch is served at Salon Prive, which is held at the Hurlingham Club in London. The club was built in the mid-19th century and says on its website it is "recognized throughout the world as one of Britain's greatest private members' clubs." Salon Prive says it is "the only evening event open to non-members at the club."
