The Ligonier Valley Writers will set the mood for Halloween when they read scary short stories Saturday at Red Barn Books in Greensburg, beginning at 7 p.m. The six original stories are prize winners chosen from 72 submissions to the group's 2011 Flash Fiction Contest, which required the setting to be in a graveyard, mausoleum, cemetery or other burial place.
