The Texans tied the score at 24 with 4:19 remaining when Matt Schaub hit Kevin Walter, right, for an 18-yard touchdown. The original call on the field was ruled as a dropped pass but after a challenge the officials decided that Walter released the ball as a secondary action to the catch.
A week after Arian Foster set a franchise mark for rushing yards in a game, Matt Schaub set the Texans' team record for passing yards with 497. Schaub was 38-for-52 and had three touchdowns. Johnson caught 12 passes for 158 yards and a score, while Kevin Walter had 11 catches for 144 yards and a touchdown.
