Pitchfork TV is looking for a full-time Production Manager to oversee and maintain all administrative and financial activities related to production and post-production, including budgeting, planning, scheduling, staffing, and delivery. The Production Manager's primary responsibility will be maintaining budgets for all production on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis, and communicating with the Executive Producer and General Manager to ensure all projects are finished on time and on budget. A fundamental understanding and experience with the workflow and timelines of various types of production and post is absolutely necessary.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Negotiate rates and costs with staff and vendors
* Securing locations and permits as needed
* Maintain Production Insurance and Acord forms for shoots as needed
* Coordinate and communicate with Producers on production/post production timelines, staffing, scheduling, and budgetary compliance
* Organize, maintain, and archive all Rights and Clearances, Agreements, and Releases
The ideal candidate will have between two and five years of TV, Film, and/or Video Production Management experience, and posses a basic understanding of musical recording, post-production, and mixing.
