Town & Country Homes is offering four townhouse styles, priced from $85,900 to $101,900, at its 62-unit Sawmill Creek project in west suburban Darien.
``No one else in this market is offering attached two-car garages,`` said John Robnett, sales manager, who added that 14 buyers in the past two weeks had cited the two-car garage as a major influence in their decision to buy.
He said other features that have attracted buyers are open floor plans, contemporary styling, rough-sawn hardwood and brick exteriors, vaulted ceilings, lofts, clerestory windows, in-home laundry centers and private fenced patios.
The Avalon ranch features a double door foyer entry, formal dining room, eat-in kitchen and living room with sloped ceiling and an optional fireplace. A full bath serves the guest room and the master bedroom has a second full bath and walk-in closet.
The Brookshire has two master bedroom suites, each with a private full bath. On the lower level, the foyer opens to a formal living and dining room with a cathedral ceiling. A fireplace is optional in the living room, and the dining room has sliding glass doors.
The Concord has an angled foyer. Sliding glass doors in both the living and dining rooms open to the private patio. Two secondary bedrooms are served by a full bath on the upper level. The master bedroom features a sloped ceiling, double closets, twin bowl vanity and private bath.
A bay window accents the step-down entertainment zone of the Richton. An open plan places the family living/dining room next to the kitchen. The gallery connecting the bedrooms on the upper level overlooks the living room and the outdoors through clerestory windows. There are two secondary bedrooms.
