Temperatures around 60 at the start of the Chicago marathon warm quickly to the mid 70s by late morning and top out in the lower 80s. Humidity levels remain low with dew points in the lower 50s. South winds at 10 to 15 mph turn southeast along the lake, keeping temps in the 70s downtown.
