PETERBOROUGH, ON- Massive winds and freezing conditions could not stop the Western rowing team from crushing their competition at the annual Head of the Trent Regatta this past weekend. The team arrived in Peterborough early Saturday morning to some extremely difficult racing conditions, with wind gusts reaching upwards of 50km an hour and temperatures falling well below 10 degrees. The Mustangs managed to persevere, racking up an astounding eleven gold medal finishes on the way to their most successful showing at the Trent regatta in recent history.
