Just when you thought Kanye West's absence at New York Fashion Week would have him sitting out all the international fashion weeks altogether, he makes several appearances at yesterday's London Fashion Week shows. Flitting from Christopher Kane to the much-anticipated Burberry Prorsum show, Kanye sat front row (obvi, doyyyyy), wedged between Ellie Goulding and Sienna Miller, the actress/model/fashion designer who, by the looks of the giggle fit captured by the front row photogs, may have just become Ye's new best friend.

This Saturday, Beyoncé launched the newest House of Dereon collection alongside mom and business partner, Tina Knowles, at Selfridges as part of London Fashion Week. The mind-bending speed with which she eased from attending New York Fashion Week shows to strutting down a catwalk across the Atlantic for her own line in a sparkly black suit cut to there (all while PREGNANT like it's NBD) is totally baffling and evocative of many wild fist-shakes and utterances of "HOW does she DO it?!!" Though admittedly, we're not the authority on maternity wear by any stretch of the imagination, we're not convinced that anyone could rock a full-body sequins situation whilst gestating another human being quite like Miss Bey, and for that, we light another candle and add it to the shrine (you know you have one, too).

Kristen Stewart at London Fashion Week.

Many thoughts came to mind when we spotted photos of Kristen Stewart at the Mulberry show during London Fashion Week, the foremost being, "So this is what we need to look like in order to be Robert Pattinson's girlfriend." Those deliciously smoky eyes! That floaty dress paired with the badass ankle boots (you know, the perfect combo of tough/pretty that we all can only hope to achieve so effortlessly). But what killed us MOST of all was Kristen's brand-new 'do: a gush of flowing, long, dark hair spilling over her shoulder like a waterfall of inky black gorgeousness. Kristen's rocking this look for her role in Snow White and the Huntsman (she plays Snow White, duh), and we've gotta say, this hairstyle totally tramples all over the mullet she previously sported to play Joan Jett. And get this: Kristen not only sat front row at Mulberry, but right next to Kate Moss. One can only imagine how that convo went ("Our names both start with a K? Let's be friends!").

We asked people to show us their style at New York Fashion Week.

Runways models and stylish celebs weren't the only ones dressed to impress at this season's New York Fashion Week. Fashion Week is a time to bust out your most fabulous everything, an excuse to mull painstakingly over each and every detail from the width of a lapel to the precise hue of red (Scarlet? Tomato? Bordeaux??) to ensure when you step out to Lincoln Center or Milk or Chelsea Piers, you're dressed to the NINES. All week long we took to the streets to capture the beautiful and wacky satorial adventures of all the well-heeled Fashion Week participants. While the Spring 2012 shows may be over for Manhattan, we can still reminisce about each expertly crafted ensemble, every carefully selected accessory and all the fabulous people behind them with this crafty little homage. Check out the video after the jump to see what cute and crazy outfits we spotted hitting the pavement for Fashion Week!

Spring 2012 shoes by Tommy Hilfiger, Mara Hoffman, and Y-3 at New York Fashion Week.

There's just some certain je ne sais quoi about shoes that gives me warm-and-fuzzies. Call me whatever, but there's something so mesmerizing to me about a well-crafted INTERESTING pair of shoes. The runways of New York Fashion Week were teeming with so much fascinating footwear, from intricately cut-out brogues to printed strappy platforms to majestic knee-high gladiator heels. What you see before you, this compilation of pairs by Tommy Hilfiger, Mara Hoffman, and Y-3, is but a mere sampling of all the beauty, creativity, and straight-up architectural expertise exhibited at Fashion Week.

Cocktail dresses for Spring 2012 at Marc by Marc Jacobs, Zac Posen, and Sherri Hill during New York Fashion Week.

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single girl in possession of a cocktail dress, must be in want of another one (or ten). Well, we're pretty sure that's how Jane Austen would have opened Pride and Prejudice if she'd been around today. Good ol' Jane would have known that a girl can never, ever have enough cocktail dresses in her fashion arsenal, which is why every season of New York Fashion Week ushers in an array of stunning little frocks ripe for the picking. For Spring 2012, Marc by Marc Jacobs stepped up to the plate with his quirky twist on the LBD: a sweetheart neckline, a splash of coral, and bright yellow heels.

Ball gowns for Spring 2012 at Jason Wu, Marchesa, and Christian Siriano during New York Fashion Week.

Forget Cinderella. She may have had her happily ever after, but we're pretty sure that chick was confined to the same ball gown (blue satin and puffy white sleeves ring a bell?) for all eternity. After New York Fashion Week, we'd much rather take our pick from the Spring 2012 collections. Oozing youthful elegance, the stream of contemporary ball gowns that paraded down the runways are practically begging us for a night on the town. Take Jason Wu's strapless chartreuse number, which effortlessly combines elements of sweet (that little bow belt!) and sassy (a shorter-in-the-front hemline that allows you to show off whatever fabulous shoes you're wearing at the moment).

Shards for Spring 2012 at The Blonds, Betsey Johnson, and Sherri Hill during New York Fashion Week.

Move over metallics and sequins, there are new guys in town, and these rebellious fellas are hellz bent on stealing your fashion spotlight. That's right, say hello to SHARDS! (Cue warrior-like music mixed with eery glitches and pops.) New York Fashion Week had its fair share of shiny surfaces and sequin spectaculars for Spring 2012, but for something altogether different (and, literally, EDGIER), we're going to endorse style shards for the win. Not only do they catch eyes from a distance, they can be downright dangerous-looking when viewed up close, and thus, up your own danger-girl prowess potential.

What do you think of when you see/hear the word "Fashion Week"? Clothes, models, runways, celebrity sightings, etc., etc.? And how many nouns do you ramble off before your brain lands on "DJ"? Probably quite a bit, right? Well, you better change that ASAP unless you want your fashion shows and parties scored by silence because Fashion Week DJs are some of the most VITAL mood-makers of this whole weeklong affair. We sat down with DJ Chelsea Leyland to talk about the seven-day soiree in her (fabulous) shoes.

We're going to let you in on a secret: Spring 2012 is all about SPARKLE MOTION. That's right, when you emerge from your wintery cocoon-cave ready to breathe in the petunia fumes of a bright 'n' breezy day, imagine yourself bedazzled, nay BESPARKLED, in the sweetest of sequined embellishments. The spring collections shown at New York Fashion Week offered all kinds of shiny action for both day and night, making the prospect of wearing sequins all the more enticing. Besides, who doesn't want a little razzle-dazzle in their wardrobe?
