Nothing invades our vocabulary like a memorable movie line. For example, when’s the last time you chatted with a hypochondriac buddy and didn’t trot out “It’s not a tumor!?” You know… a quote from a 20-year-old Arnold Schwarzenegger film you might not have ever seen.
(That’s the action-packed thrill ride “Kindergarten Cop,” if you’re wondering.)
Every year has its “You had me at hello” moments, and even the lines that don’t achieve unholy-repetition status serve as important pieces of shared culture, and more importantly, act as stand-ins when we can’t come up with anything original to say at parties.
So here are our 10 favorite lines from the movies of 2010 — and in true 2010 fashion, presented in meme form.

The comic book cover is a thing of beauty. An image so stirring, so eye-catching, so attention-grabbing, that the best can make you snatch up a title from the shelf, even if you've never heard of the series behind the glorious image. The comic book cover can encapsulate an entire story, the characters' motivations, the cultural zeitgeist or they can just be a lot of fun. These are the cover artists who we think fully embraced and pushed the artform into new and exciting territories in 2010.
#10 Simon Bisley

This impactful narrative of a life caught between two realities -- one of order, the other chaos -- is a stellar follow-up to Kindt's hit "Super Spy."

There were so many awesome choices this year for "Best Comics" of 2010 that whittling them down to just ten was a Herculean task. If there was one outstanding feature of this year's comics, it was: we just had so much fun reading and discovering them!
#10: Amazing Spider-Man
It's not easy putting out an entertaining multi-layered story with a large ensemble cast multiple times a month -- but the crew at "Amazing Spider-Man" managed to do the job! Kudos to editor Steve Wacker and his stable of some of the biggest talents in the business -- including Dan Slott, Fred Van Lente, Marc Guggenheim, Mike McKone, Paolo Rivera, Mark Waid, and Joe Quesada -- for producing a consistently enjoyable, fresh, and at times quite daring take on everybody's fave Webhead!
#9: American Vampire
This riveting series by Scott Snyder and Rafael Albuquerque (and Stephen King!) proved that Vertigo as an Read more...
Welcome to MTV Geek's picks for the best board games of 2010!
#10 - Alien Frontiers
The biggest surprise of the year, with what started as a fundraising project on Kickstarter.com, Alien Frontiers turned out to be a gem of a game. Similarly to other board games in our top 10, this game mixes area control with a worker placement mechanic. Think of it like this: where you move determines what actions you perform on that turn, but if you control a certain area, other players can’t perform that space’s associated action. Read more...

2010 has been a banner year for toys. Thanks to games, movies, comics, and all-around nostalgia; toy companies have given their all to release fantastic pieces of plastic greatness. We, here at MTV Geek, have compiled a list of 10 toys that truly outshone their competition this year.
10. Glyos RIG (Onell Design)
Onell Design has hit onto something amazing with their Glyos series of customizable figures. This year, Onell released a new component to the line with the addition of the RIG. It’s very much in the vein of popular designer-vinyl toys, yet is so much more. With the simple positioning of the arms, you can change the RIG from a mech-like fighting machine into a space-worthy dogfighter. The imagination-inducing factor is what really helps set the RIG apart from other toys on the market, and what helps push it onto this list. The first release of the RIG sold out ridiculously fast; but be on the lookout for more of these wonderfully toys to be released in various colors and paint schemes in the future. Read more...
