The Other Bees

Most bee species are not as highly social as the familiar honey bee. They may live in small, simple clusters of sisters, or entirely alone for much of their lives. Many dig underground chambers for their nests, or hollow out tunnels in wood.
These other bees, though common and frequently seen, are not often noticed -- taking a second look at that 'honey bee' can show some really amazing little creatures.
