'Eufloria' Bringing Ambient Strategy To PSN October 4

A couple months ago, Sony announced that they were investing $20 million dollars into exclusive titles for their PlayStation Network. The company's had a difficult time landing consistently popular, exclusive downloadable titles, but they're hoping to change all that by dropping some dollars in the direction of up-and-coming designers. Today, we're finally getting some more information about the first of three previously announced titles in this PlayStation "Pub Fund," ambient strategy game "Eufloria."
'Radiant Silvergun' Review - An Old-School Treasure

13 years ago, famed Japanese developer Treasure released "Radiant Silvergun" to arcades and the Sega Saturn. If you've never heard of "Radiant Silvergun," there's a good chance that's because it was never released in North America. Don't feel bad, though; Even some big fans of the shoot-em-up genre have never actually played it, either. That's primarily because the fan-fervor over Treasure titles – not the least of which includes "Silvergun" follow-up "Ikaruga" – elevated the price of the Sega Saturn import to around $150.
Well, let no one cast doubt upon your "hardcore gamer" cred any longer. "Radiant Silvergun" is finally available on Xbox Live Arcade, and it's really great – if you're into this type of game.
How To Unlock Ice T (Aka Griffin) In 'Gears Of War 3'

Yesterday we posted a giant guide to getting all of the unlockables in "Gears of War 3," including weapon skins, playable characters, executions and mutators. One of the unlockable characters is Aaron Griffin, the head of an Imulsion pumping corporation who plays an important role in the "Gears of War 3" campaign. More noteworthy is the fact that Aaron Griffin is voiced by actor/musician/life coach, Ice T.
Unlocking Griffin through the game is actually pretty tough, and would require playing hundreds of waves of Horde mode to earn the required cash for the onyx Big Money medal. Alternatively, there's a way to unlock him in about 5 minutes, but it requires some social networking.

Opting to forgo his signature sucking power (again) "Mass Attack" allows you to control multiple pink puffs as you try to save Popstar from yet another attack.
'Batman: Arkham City' Includes Six New Gadgets, New Villain Deadshot

"Batman Arkham City" is only about a month away, but thankfully, Rocksteady are still dishing out new features and villains. The game's rogue gallery is getting pretty deep, with the developer seemingly trying to cram as many iconic Batman villains into the game as possible. Today, we find out details on a couple of new gadgets, plus we're introduced to the latest foe in the title, Deadshot.
"Diablo 2" came out 10 years ago and it still costs $30. That's a short way of saying that really good games keep their price tags for a good long while, while other games drop dramatically in price after a few months. "Portal" is one of the best PC games ever devised and Valve could very easily sell copies of it for $10 for, well, ever. But that's not what they're doing, at least for the next few days. Yes, until September 20, "Portal" is completely free on Mac and PC. Wowza.

The days until the "Battlefield 3" release are quickly getting smaller. Razer Wants You To Test Their Prototype Xbox 360 Arcade Stick

Less than a month ago, gaming peripheral company Razer announced that they were releasing the world's "first" gaming laptop. Go ahead and take a moment to choke that one down. Today, during Tokyo Game Show, the company has announced that they are working on developing a new Xbox 360 arcade stick. Honestly, where do they find the time?
The catch is that Razer are looking for input on their prototype from experienced players, and what better place to do that but in fighting-genre-loving Japan.
'Game Of Thrones' Game Adaptation Was Considered By Bethesda

George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series is, in my humble opinion, one of the best fantasy series in the history of the medium. I place it right up there with Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" – seriously. If you've never had an opportunity to read the books, then by chance you've watched the immediately successful television adaptation, "Game Of Thrones." Well, like any great piece of popular entertainment, the franchise is receiving the videogame treatment, courtesy of a Cyanide-developed real-time strategy game, "A Game of Thrones: Genesis."
As it turns out, Cyanide were not the only studio interested in adapting the series. The game could have taken a very different turn if "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" developer Bethesda hadn't turned the opportunity down.
'Gears Of War 3' Unlockables Guide - Weapon Skins, Characters, Mutators, Executions

The "Gears of War" franchise has always had a strong multiplayer component. But what is has lacked is an incentive for playing that multiplayer component. No, fun is apparently not enough. In the era of "Call of Duty," people expect tons of unlockables to encourage that just-one-more-round attitude and, in "Gears of War 3," Epic has delivered.
There is a ton of stuff to unlock in "Gears of War 3," from weapon skins to playable characters to weapon-specific executions and mutators which modify the way you play. This guide is dedicated to showing you just what you need to do to unlock each and every thing in the game, and we'll be updating it as more unlockables get added to the mix.
UPDATE: Epic has confirmed with us that for-pay downloadable weapon skins will be sold as singles and in packs in "Gears of War 3." An Epic representative informed us that "there will be 21 weapons skins available on day one with options to purchase both singles and sets, so prices vary." Prices will be revealed during an Epic live stream with Rod Fergusson on Friday, Sept. 16 at 5:30 p.m. EDT, which will be aired here. The complete list of PDLC weapon skins can be found here.
