Batman and LEGOs are two of my favorite things on the planet, so you can imagine how excited I was when I found out a 13 year-old kid made a life-size LEGO Batman out of nothing but… you guessed it, LEGOs! What could be better than Batman forking over spare LEGO bricks while you’re rushing to finish your latest build? Read more...

Dragon-Con has become known for its passionate fans and their love of costuming, and the yearly parade succeeds in letting all that hard work get seen by both con attendees and locals here in Atlanta. The parade began at 10 a.m. and proceeded to work its way through the downtown area to the delight of onlookers. People began staking claim to their spot of the sidewalks at 7 a.m. and we were as well. That's right, we stood around aimlessly for over 3 hours to bring you these pictures. Remember that the next time we need to borrow something!
The parade was so huge this year, that there's no way we could put all of the cool photos in one post, so this is Part 1 of the Dragon-Con Parade!
Stay tuned to MTV Geek! for all your Dragon-Con coverage, including Part 2 of the Dragon-Con Parade!

Ladies, are you having trouble finding an awesome superhero shirt to wear to that convention coming up? If so, you should head over to ThinkGeek and check out their new DC Comics Hockey Stripe Babydoll Tees. After the mad love you showed for the Batgirl and Wonder Woman costume shirts they decided to give you some more options when it comes to geeky threads.
Whether you’re a fan of Batman, Superman, The Flash or the Green Lantern they’ve got a new shirt waiting for you right now. Why is it called a “hockey stripe babydoll” you ask? Well it’s simple; you see the stripe that runs around the bottom of each sleeve - that’s a hockey stripe. So, if you were paying attention to the Stanley Cup Playoffs and your team (like mine) failed to make it to the finals then you can just wear your Superman tee and be done with it -- that’s what I’m doing.
Sadly, none of these shirts will make you fly, run fast, fight good or aid in your space travel needs. However, they do feature cool distressed looking logos and can take 20 of your hard-earned dollars and turn them into a t-shirt that magically arrives on your doorstep! Head over to ThinkGeek if one (or all) of these is the DC shirt you’ve been waiting for.

Are the days of the print restaurant menu numbered? California burger chain Stacked will be installing iPads on each table for customers to not only choose their meal but design the way it should be prepared. I hope these iPads can withstand the touch of many greasy, ketchup-stained fingers!

So Barbie and Ken are back together, just in time for Toy Fair. Seems pretty conveeeeeeeenient timing, if you ask me.

Even superheroes need a little self-improvement now and then. Like the rest of us, they make resolutions for New Year’s…and then probably, like the rest of us, break them a few months later. We talked to a few heroes, and asked them what their resolutions might be for 2011:
Superman:
“Actually appear in my own titles. Also, try being 'super' once in a while, and a little less 'man' – my dogs are barking.”
Wolverine:
“See if the Fantastic Four has a vacancy, I really needs to get my claws in a few more projects.”
Hellboy:
“Avoid all Luchadores and magical talking pets – they only lead to trouble.” Read more...

The people over at College Humor decided to do a funny little parody on the death (and eventual return) of major superheroes. After an initial watch, we were able to pick up on spoofed versions of: Superman, Flash, Hawkman, Batman, Thor, Punisher, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Bizzaro, Wolverine, The Thing, Wonder Woman, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Cable, Nightcrawler, Daredevil, Colossus, Cyclops, Super-Skrull, Mysterio, Ghost Rider, Spawn and Stan Lee.
See if you can spot any others!
