Megan Mullally On Her 'Super Gross' 'Childrens Hospital' Character Chief (Video)

Megan Mullally has played a lot of perky, attractive TV characters in her career. That's not quite the case on the Adult Swim show 'Childrens Hospital,' a medical drama parody. Mullally called her character, Chief, "super gross" on 'The Talk' (weekdays, syndicated on CBS), and said that playing that kind of role is "freeing."

Mullally described 'Childrens Hospital' as "an absurdist satire" of one-hour medical shows, "where all the beautiful doctors are like, having sex in the supply closet." Chief is one of those doctors. "She's super gross," said Mullally. "And she's supposed to be. She's super gross but everybody wants her, is the joke." That includes, she said, "men, women, everybody."

The freeing part? "It takes me like ten minutes to get ready," she said. "I wear no makeup, I have a traveling mole, I walk on a walker, »

In 'Anger Management,' Dr. Rosen and the team must relocate the base after an attack. Meanwhile, the aforementioned runaway causes a series of riots up and down the East Coast.

The preview clip below shows what happens when a subway ride turns particularly violent with an Alpha on the train.

'Spartacus' Star Talks Bulking Up For The Role on 'Access Hollywood Live' (Video)

The Starz show 'Spartacus' is filled with heavily muscled warriors wearing very little to hide their physiques. Monday on 'Access Hollywood Live' (weekdays, syndicated on NBC), 'Spartacus' stars Liam McIntyre, Lucy Lawless and Manu Bennett talked about the series, and McIntyre discussed having to bulk up to take over the title role from Andy Whitfield, who was forced to leave the show due to a recurrence of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

"I had to work out non-stop," said McIntyre. Host Kit Hoover asked if she could describe McIntyre as "skinny" when he won the role. "You can say 'skinny' because that's very accurate. I had lost 20 kilos, which in pounds is about, 45 pounds. It was like a fifth of my body weight or something. And then I had to put it back on plus muscle, and that was just non-stop training. And it's not as fun as they »

Former 'American Idol' finalist Clay Aiken got to try out his acting chops Sunday on 'Drop Dead Diva' (Sundays, 9Pm on Lifetime), playing a witness in a case of a mail-order-bride scam. Aiken played Tyler, the former husband of Irina, the mail-order bride in question. Grayson and Kim were representing Hank the Bailiff, who once had a crush on Jane and was dumped by Irina.

Grayson and Kim were suspicious when they interviewed Tyler, finding out that he left Irina on good terms. She didn't max out his credit cards and returned the engagement ring. "I felt terrible, but after a couple of months I just realized she wasn't right for me," said Tyler.

Comic-Con 2011: 'Sons of Anarchy' Rides Into Hall H

'Sons of Anarchy' rolled into Comic-Con Sunday, and the thousands of cheering fans in Hall H seemed to like what they heard about the new season of the FX show, which returns with a 90-minute episode Sept. 6.

The first few minutes of season 4 were shown before the panel (by the way, spoilers ahoy). Would it surprise you to learn that the clip ends with club members on their motorcycles, flipping off the prison that they just left after 14 months of incarceration? No, I do not think it would.

'How Long I've Been Waiting' is a romantic ballad with an 80s Top 40 feel, lush with synths and a plinking piano. Franklin sang, "You're touching, yes, and I'm blushing" while Gifford and Kotb swayed back and forth at the side of the stage, as if they were at a high school dance.

Comic-Con 2011: Daleks Attack and Other 'Doctor Who' Panel Highlights

Filed under: Reality-Free, Comic-Con, Stay Tuned

Matt Smith of 'Doctor Who' experienced his first Comic-Con over the weekend, and at the start of the show's Sunday panel in a packed Hall H, he said it was "completely overwhelming."

And that was before he began answering fan questions from people inside Dalek costumes.

Below are highlights from the 'Doctor Who' panel -- and check out these trailers for the show's fall episodes, which begin airing Aug. 27 on BBC America. (Regarding the trailers and what's below, as River Song might say, "Spoilers!")

* Smith and Karen Gillan, who plays Amy Pond, said that the script for 'A Good Man Goes to War,' the show's mid-season finale, had fake pages -- the ending they read was not the real ending.

Linda Christian, the Hollywood bombshell who became the first-ever Bond Girl in the 1954 TV adaptation of 'Casino Royale,' has died. According to a report in People, the actress lost her battle with colon cancer over the weekend at the age of 87.

Christian, born in Mexico as Blanca Rosa Welter in 1924, was discovered by Errol Flynn, and later married Hollywood leading man Tyrone Power in 1949. The couple had two children before their divorce in 1956.

The 'Casino Royale' TV adaptation aired on CBS as part of the drama anthology 'Climax!' In it, Christian starred as Valerie Mathis, the romantic interest of Barry Nelson, who played an early incarnation of the iconic British spy.

Ian Fleming's series was then in such an early stage of development that the 007 character went by the name of 'Jimmy.'

Two David Hasselhoffs Swap Lives on 'Same Name' (Video)

In the world of reality television, some concepts are just so out there, you can't help but be intrigued. 'Same Name' (Sun., 9Pm Et on CBS) takes two people with the same name and switches their lives. Oh, and one of them happens to be famous. It's certainly an innovative take on a life-swapping show.

The premiere featured a couple of David Hasselhoffs swapping their worlds for four days. A simple Texas man found himself in The Hoff's mansion, while the former 'Baywatch' star found himself inside an oily circuit breaker he needed to clean. He also learned how to operate a riding mower.

'Dancing With the Stars' Season 13: Bigger Names, Worse Performances?

When 'Dancing With the Stars' returns for Season 13, expect bigger names ... and possibly worse performances.

According to a new TMZ report, producers have been given direct orders to avoid D-List celebrities and go after bigger stars. Instead of saying "Who!?" audiences might be saying "How did they get him!?"

As part of this renewed focus on attracting household-name celebrities, producers are reportedly offering stars complete control over the rehearsal schedules. Yep, they are saying there is no minimum rehearsal requirements -- that could mean audiences are in for some disastrous dances.

Kim G. Gets Thrown Out of the Gorgas' Christmas Party on 'Real Housewives of NJ' (Video)

Apparently it's so much fun kicking people out of the Gorgas' Christmas Party that the fine folks at 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' (Thu., 10Pm Et on Bravo) have split it across two episodes. Last week, we got the impromptu departure of Monica Chacon.

This week, though, things got dramatic when Kim G. was abruptly asked to leave. She must have anticipated it, because she brought her own -- ultimately ineffective -- bodyguard. Does that mean Caroline was right to say she only went there to hurt people and stir the pot?

Of course it does!

Michael Lohan Threatens to Leave 'Celebrity Rehab' (Video)

Filed under: Summer TV, TV Replay

Michael Lohan's days on 'Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew' (Sun., 9Pm Et on VH1) may be numbered. Of course, we'll have to wait until next week to find out if he truly walks off the show, and out of rehab, but how did it get to this?

Lohan was looking forward to seeing his ex-fiancée when family came to visit, but the staff members at the facility were concerned because they're pretty certain that she's an addict right now. Thus, seeing Lohan could set his own recovery back.

As such, they said that if she came she would also have to sign up for treatment. When Lohan found out about this, he didn't take it well at all. He stormed around, ranting and raving to everyone about the rules and who has to follow them.

'Glee' Co-Creator Brad Falchuk Says Chris Colfer, Lea Michele and Cory Monteith are Staying With the Show

Is there a little discord over in the 'Glee' camp? Last month Ryan Murphy said that several major 'Glee' cast members would be leaving the show at the end of Season 3. Their characters would graduate McKinley High and be replaced by new characters, just like in a real high school.

Makes sense, right? Well, yes and no. First, some of the actors concerned -- who are still under contract with the series -- expressed surprise at the news, with Chris Colfer saying that he'd found out via Twitter.

Then, last week Amber Riley said that the actors are all fine with the decision, and Lea Michele tweeted that "It's all part of the plan and it's all good."

Now, however, has Murphy's co-creator Brad Falchuk tossed a wrench into the works?

He told a Comic-Con audience that the characters are graduating, but »

Jennifer Lopez Close to Renewing Her 'American Idol' Contract

It seems as though the game of cat and mouse that Jennifer Lopez has been playing with 'American Idol' execs all summer may soon be at an end.

According to 'The Wall Street Journal,' Lopez is close to signing a deal that will bring her back to the 'American Idol' judging panel for at least one more season.

When Lopez's original one-year contract -- estimated at $12 million -- expired back in May she said she was "on the fence" about committing to the series for another season, and she's been pitching her own TV talent show to networks.

'Idol' execs, in return, then let it be known that they were lining up possible replacements should they be unable to lure her back.
