Young Catholics welcome Pope Benedict XVI as he arrives at Cibeles Square during World Youth Day celebrations on Aug. 18, in Madrid.

Pope Benedict XVI arrived in Madrid on Thursday to celebrate World Youth Day with Catholic pilgrims from around the world. But in a country that has become more secular, not all Spaniards are extending a warm welcome.
