Lollapalooza band thanks cops with doughnuts

A band that played Lollapalooza hopes it won't be taken the wrong way, but they plan to send five dozen doughnuts to the detectives that helped recover about $80,000 worth of equipment stolen the day after the festival.

About 200 people attended hearing this morning regarding Commonwealth Edison's response to the massive storm last month that knocked out power to 907,000 customers.

Gov. Pat Quinn said today Mayor Rahm Emanuel is "putting the cart before the horse" with plans for spending money from a Chicago casino that has yet to be legalized.
