I am an editor on the Chicago Tribune's National Content and Lifestyle staffs. In this capacity, I am editor of the Rides section on Sundays. I also edit Ellen Warren's shopping columns and Rick Kogan's Sidewalks for the Sunday section, as well as some fashion stories.

I have worked in the Chicago Tribune newsroom for 18 years, since graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BA in print journalism. I spent most of my time on the paper's Financial News staff working on its copy desk, and later as assistant editor of Chicago Homes and Money & Real Estate. In the spring of 2010, I joined the National Content and Lifestyle staffs.
