Enteropathy

Enteropathy refers to any pathology of the intestine.^[1]

Types

Specific types of enteropathy include:

Gluten-sensitive enteropathy (Which can progress to Coeliac Disease)
Hemorrhagic enteropathy
Protein-losing enteropathy^[2]
Porcine proliferative enteropathy (PPE)
Radiation enteropathy^[3]
Enteropathy associated T-cell lymphoma
Immunodysregulation polyendocrinopathy and enteropathy, X-linked (see FOXP3)

If the condition also involves the stomach, it is known as "gastroenteropathy".

Although enteritis specifically refers to an inflammation of the intestine, and is thus a more specific term than "enteropathy", the two phrases are sometimes used interchangeably.
