World Hepatitis Day

28 July 2011

World Hepatitis Day is co-ordinated globally by the World Health Alliance and within Australia by Hepatitis Australia.  Shockingly one in 12 people worldwide is living with either chronic hepatitis B or C, yet awareness is inexplicably low and many of those infected are unaware.

We hope that World Hepatitis Day will prompt you to think about the huge scale of viral hepatitis infection globally. On World Hepatitis Day we ask you to join with us and show your support by talking openly and supportively about viral hepatitis and liver health.
