NBR project staff, working across the critical areas of Asia-Pacific security, politics, economics, energy and environment, and health, organize programs and projects with the highest impact possible in the key decisionmaking centers, both at home and abroad.
In November 2009, NBR staff planted tulip bulbs in the Brigitte M. Gort-Allen Garden located on the rooftop of NBR's new home, George F. Russell Jr. Hall. The garden commemorates the life and career of former NBR Senior Vice President for Institutional Development Brigitte Gort-Allen, who was a key force in creating NBR culture and values.
