Bridge Award Program

A cooperative effort between the National Security Education Program (NSEP) and The National Bureau of Asian Research (NBR), this award seeks to equip and empower returning Boren Fellows with the analytical and practical skills needed for pursuing effective careers in Asian affairs. Learn more.

Gorton Center Fellows and Internship Program

The Slade Gorton International Policy Center will establish a fellowship and internship program that will recruit promising young professionals to groom them in former U.S. Senator Slade Gorton’s values and provide them with policy experience at the Gorton Center and on staff in U.S. Senate offices.

NBR provides exceptional internship and fellowship opportunities for the purposes of attracting and training the next generation of Asia specialists.

The Next Generation Fellowship in Asian Affairs Program

This post-master's degree program is designed to cultivate a new generation of Asia affairs specialists committed to and capable of bridging the gap between the best scholarly research and the pressing needs of American foreign policy toward a rapidly changing Asia. Learn more.

Henry M Jackson Internship Program

This longstanding internship program, funded by the Henry M Jackson Foundation offers full- and part-time paid internships for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as for recent postgraduates. Many participants in this program are current undergraduate and graduate students at the Henry M Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington. Learn more.
