Latest newspaper adventure involves building and producing "Chicago Live!" -- a weekly news and entertainment stage and radio show in Chicago being produced in partnership with The Second City. Past lives have included editing stories in business, sports, nation/world and features and reporting information graphics. Helped launch the "Smart" section, the "Play" section and RedEye.

Have lived in Virginia, Nebraska, Indiana, New Jersey, Kansas, California, Illinois and Zambia. Keep coming back to Chicago, though, because it's such a great place to live and work and play. Have been practicing journalism since creating a neighborhood newspaper when I was 8 -- except for the three years I took off to serve as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Zambia.
