Brodick Castle offers 600 years of history. Though the priority is to ensure that pupils increase their knowledge and understanding we also consider it important that the educational experience is an enjoyable one. We can tailor your visit to suit, Nursery to Tertiary Education. From Vikings to Victorians, we provide a unique opportunity to expand on the topics covered at various levels in the curriculum. A visit can be linked to the Countryside Centre and our team of Rangers for the complete environmental experience. The outdoor environment is varied with a fine collection of plants from all over the world and a wide variety of habitats ranging over seashore, freshwater ponds and burns, woodland, heathland, blanket bog and mountain areas. There is a wildlife garden, weather station, nature room and classroom, and, our very popular adventure playground. Brodick has a staff of Rangers and Education Guides who are used to dealing with school groups both on a formal and informal basis. For non- trust members there is a charge of £2 per pupil.
