I am a copyeditor and slot in the sports department. I am responsible for editing writer's stories, writing captions on pictures, and best of all, headlines for stories. I have been at the Tribune for more than 20 years. I started in 1990 as a part-timer answering calls from high school coaches and have steadily moved my way up.

I am a 1989 graduate of North Park College, attended Hononegah High School and am a lifelong Illinois resident. I have completed 20 marathons, including the infamous 2007 sauna, plus one 50-mile race. I have been a Bears season-ticket holder since 1985, and yes, I was in the Superdome for the 46-10 victory!
