I edit photography and design for the Chicagoland Extra sections. I also produce photo galleries and video for our website.

I'm an Ohio native and earned my BS in Visual Journalism Kent State. I adore photography and consider myself lucky to have the pleasure of looking at hundreds of images every day. I live on the North Side of Chicago with my wife Jen and our chihuahua, Quinn.

I love technology, so I geek out on my iPhone and computer much of the time. Watching movies, reading fashion and news magazines, hiking, shopping, traveling, and drinking coffee are my favorite pastimes. I write screenplays and poetry, but only for fun. If I had a superpower it would be to remember everything I ever read, see or hear.
